I have worn contacts for the last 30 years and have gone through a ton of different optometrists and ophthalmologists throughout that time. I can easily say that after just one visit with Dr. Khan he is easily my favorite I've seen. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a great personality and bedside manner to go along with it. I originally found him through the positive reviews on Google, so I figured I'd add to those reviews to make sure others have the opportunity to receive the quality care that I received. As long as I live in San Diego, I'll be going to him moving forward.

I accompanied my grandmother on her appointments and cataract surgery with Dr. Fahad Khan. My grandmother expressed to me how comfortable, safe, and well treated she felt throughout the whole experience. She does not speak English and they did a very good job in making sure she understood every step of the process during her surgery. I was also allowed to be with her every step of the way and they explained everything to me to relay to her as well. Her surgery was successful and she looks forward to continuing receiving great care from Dr. Khan.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Khan and his staff! I noticed a strange bump on my eyelid and looked up local providers that accept my insurance. Dr. Khan was the third office I called but the only one that was able to see me same day! I was thrilled they had parking in a garage for patients and the staff was super friendly checking me in. Briefly enjoyed a nature show playing in the waiting room and then completed a few tests. Very soon after I met Dr. Khan who was so knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk to, he was in no rush and thoroughly answered all my questions with patience and a sense of humor. Truly one of the best experiences I've had at a doctor's office.

Doctor Khan is very personable and takes time to learn about you and explain anything going on and why he suggests certain treatments over others.

Dr. Khan is incredible. I had an eye infection and called the office Friday morning after being in a ton of pain. He luckily answered the phone and told me he'd be able to fit me in that day, because he didn't want to take any chances. He diagnosed me right away, gave me medication, and within 7 days he performed a dilation that determined that my eyes had made a full recovery. There are very few doctors like this left - that TRULY care for their patients and take their medical oaths seriously. (To put this into perspective, every other Ophthalmologist I tried contacting had a 1 week+ wait time). Every appointment and every interaction within those 7 days - Dr. Khan made sure that I was comfortable and eased my fears. I'm very grateful to him and his team for not only prioritizing patient care, but for going above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience and received timely treatment. Highly recommended - one of the best doctors I've had the pleasure of interacting with!

Had the worst experience dealing with this clinic. The woman at the front desk (who also does the billing) tried her best to make sure she bills you for everything possible. I had vision insurance and wanted to get an eye check up, yet she forced me to use my medical insurance. I did ask mention that I wanted a prescription with my visit and she had confirmed the same. My visit costed me $170 and I didn't get any prescription.
The doctor is great but his employees are nasty and are only looking to squeeze out as much money as they can from you. Overall, it is super unpleasant to deal with the woman who takes care of the appointments and billing.
If you are looking for an annual eye exam, they will make sure to add extra services (that you can't waive), to your visit so you end up paying something. Extremely annoying and unprofessional. I will not be going here again!
