I had a great eye exam experience with Dr. White. I Went in with a ton of questions regarding contacts, progressives, and how I can get back into scuba diving now that I can no longer even read my watch. Dr. White was very patient and took extra time to get to know me and my situation. I now have multiple solutions to try on top of my normal glasses. Highly recommended!

Dr. White and his staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain what the tests were that they were doing, and answered all my questions. I hadn't had an eye exam in ages, so it was great to have them take the time needed to explain. A very nice visit, and I'd not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

been going here for at least 15 yrs & all has been good. Ladies that run the front seem even better than the ones that use to work here . Dr. White is a beacon of optimism and a great family man it's nice to be around him cause he clearly is still excited about being an eye doctor , he certainly has a youthful way about him that shines & my eyes appreciate the attention to detail...

While I LOVED this place, they fired my doctor who was so great and patient. Had more that 10 (at least) different sclera contacts trying to get the right fit. I had a balance due for contacts, yet my doctor had told me I didnt have to pay until they got it right. Well, my one eye is again terrible and they want me to pay my balance. Dr. White cares nothing about this and sent my account to collections, which can ,essentially up my credit. He would rather contest 400 dollars versus actually caring about how his patients are navigating this world. Having multiple eye infections from improper fitting has been so hard.I cant even go to social events looking like I have a demon eye. And what Does Dr. White say? YOU OWE ME MONEY. For this....

I was a patient of Dr White back in 2009-2010 and then I moved out of state and back east. I always remembered how much I liked Dr White and ended up comparing his exams and care to eye doctors I saw in NH and FL and was always sorely disappointed in those eye doctor visits. What impressed me about Dr White's exams was his use of the latest technology and his explanations of the results. He was willing to share details which is what I was always keen to know. He never talked down to me or insist on doing what he wanted. Instead, Dr White truly LISTEND to me and I pined for going back. Well, 12 years later, I moved back to San Diego and I contacted Dr White's office and made an appointment. I knew my vision had degraded although previous eye doctors insisted no, my vision for distances had not degraded but instead insisted my close up vision did degrade. I had glasses and would ALWAYS take off my glasses to see up close because I had trouble with the bifocals one eye doctor insisted I needed despite my protests. When I went back to Dr White, he listened to my complaints of the other eye doctors, did the excellent eye exams, and once again provided a solution of being able to go back to contact lenses (which I missed terribly in the last several years) to allow me to see distances. Come to find out my long distance vision did indeed degrade as I knew it had. I now have the perfect solution for my vision, complete comfort of my new lenses, extraordinary care with the upmost professionalism not only from Dr White but his entire staff. I will not stray again.

I have been wearing glasses since I was a child. I've had many eye exams in my life. This was the best exam I've had. Dr. Mannen was exceptional. He took time to explain every test they did. The advanced equipment the office has is very impressive. The staff was great. Very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this office. I'm going to try the latest technology offered, Neurolens. I am looking forward to getting my new, state of the art eyeglasses. Thank you to the Doctor and staff.
