Great experience. Very helpful staff & friendly. Have been coming here for 2+ years. I always have a good experience & they have a great selection of designer sunglasses as well as everyday glasses.

I love that the store is open on Saturday's, but if you're looking for good customer service then it's not here other than maybe the 2 workers working the glasses section - they are amazing. I've had multiple bad interactions with the girl who has a nose piercing, dragon tattoo on her right hand, and 0 customer service skills to the point of not wanting to return or recommend. Unfortunately I had encountered her one too many times. She had left me sitting for 10 minutes after handing me my items, never excused herself, never came to check on me, but luckily one of the 2 better employees came to check after noticing I had been sitting with my items for so long. 1 star is for being open on Saturdays and another Star for the 2 employees who are with excellent customer service skills.

I was given a quote over the phone for $119 out of pocket eye exam. I left having to pay $327. I was told because I was a new patient and wear contacts, it was an additional $159. I feel scammed. No one told me prior to this additional pricing and when I explained the quote I got they just shrugged and said "it can be confusing." UPDATE: After filing a complaint with BBB and writing this review, the manager reached out to me and offered a $159 refund.

During my years as a client of Excel Optometry, I have been extremely satisfied with their ability to fit me with the correct prescription and lens to address my visual needs. During my most recent visits, Andy, an optician , was extremely patient in helping me finalize my choice of frames and lenses. Although there were delays in obtaining my glasses, I do in no way hold Andy responsible and he went out of his way to make it right . He truly personifies excellent customer service and Excel is fortunate to have him as a member of their staff.

Edit: after leaving my initial review, the doctor personally called me and offered to make things right. She explained that she had a staffing issue back then and did not get my messages. She seemed genuinely concerned and willing to help. I believe she's being honest. So I'm changing my review because I don't think a lot of doctors would call and offer to make things right. I appreciate her offer and concern. Original review: So disappointed in this place. Got insanely expensive specialized contacts I was never able to use.because they fogged before I even got home. Could never keep them in for more than 15 minutes without total fog. I called multie times to ask for help/advice, and never got a return call.

We came in and the customer service wasn't great. No smile & no life in the store. The selection of glasses is not big as well and we waited a long time for them to find it. Wouldn't return back here again!

I went there today to pick up my prescription glasses. Left work with enough time, but traffic was very heavy on a Thursday evening during the holiday season, and I was going to be late by 5~10 minutes before the closing time of the office. I called in and explained my situation, and by the time I arrived, the door remained open for me. They didn't have to wait for me, but they did, I really appreciate that!

This was the best eyecare I have ever received from start to finish. The doctor was phenomenal and Andy was extremely helpful when I needed the lenses replaced in my new glasses right away. I highly recommend Excel Eyecare, I wish I had found it years ago!
