Eye Care for Animals - San Diego

Rex has received excellent care from Eye Care for Animals Clinic. Dr Tsai was very professional with compassion and explained & discussed about the diagnosis and procedures to be done. When your pet is going through a tough diagnosis, you want a Vet that understands somewhat how agonizing it is for you & your pet. I also need to state that Jesus was so good with Rex. He was professional/ knowledgeable and very gentle (as if his own pet) He made sure I was aware of the testing he was going to perform on Rex. The front office crew are the center of the Clinic. They are so kind and will go out of the way to make sure you are satisfied with your appointment and visit.

My dog had a recent visit with Dr. Tsai. She did such a great job with my little girl. She explained everything that was going on with my dog and asked me if I had any questions about her diagnosis. She made recommendations and I am hopeful that they will help improve my dog's quality of life. The staff was very helpful and the whole experience was very efficient.

Olaf's appointment was at 9:15am and we were seen at 9:13am... Couldn't have been happier! Dr. Tsai was thorough, had a very calming personality (which put Olaf at ease) , explained everything that was going on with Olaf's eye and didn't put any pressure on me to do any procedure. The vet tech and the front desk staff were all personable and pleasant. Very highly recommend!

This place is expensive, but you get what you pay for - a 5 star experience for you and your fur baby. The people I met seemed very authentic and good at what they do - Jesus was awesome - you can sense his caring nature and good character immediately! He is so patient, kind and helpful. I had Dr. Venturi do an eye flush for my Sienna who has been struggling with a blocked tear duct for 6 years (she is 6) and the doctor managed my expectations, was very professional, and good at her job and texted me directly the day of the procedure to communicate how things went and what to expect moving forward. I am so very happy and it has only been 24 hours. I am waiting to see if this fixed the problem permanently, but already I believe I am witnessing a miracle! My baby is more comfortable and happy. Also, I am not sure who checked me in to sign things prior to surgery, but the person had such a sweet demeanor that gave me peace after some anxiety prior to the procedure. The front office is also very kind. I couldn't be happier. I am glad I spent the time and money getting Sienna the best help!

we have been using Eye Care for a couple of years for my 17 year old dog. Very nice staff, easy to schedule. Very appropriate treatment recommendations without trying to upsell. Charges are very reasonable . Highly recommend Eye Care for Animals.

We brought our 4.5 year old dog who had a hypermature congenital cataract in one eye to a hospital out of state where the doctor there removed the cataract and had to also remove the capsule that houses the lens. Going forward we will be having post-op appts at Eye Care for Animals (ECFA). First we'd like to say that we're appreciative that ECFA is willing to care for her post-op despite her surgery being performed elsewhere. The facility is clean, staff are friendly and efficient, and doctor very knowledgeable. Their prices seem reasonable. What more can one ask for?

Dr. Venturi was intended to be our second opinion doctor. However, she and her team were so clear and kind, we decided to stay with them. Not being domain experts in doggie eye diseases, I wanted a doctor who would explain things (as needed) along the way. I appreciate the straight and clear communication by Dr. Venturi. The staff from the front desk to every technician who has supported our dog has also been wonderful. As unpleasant as worrying about our pet is, having people you trust and who truly care makes it much easier. I am glad we decided to drive the two hours back and forth for care by this office. Five Stars! We've been with Eye Care for Animals for four years, and I can't say enough about the exceptional care we've received. Dr. Venturi and her wonderful staff are always courteous, friendly, and dedicated to providing outstanding customer service. Most importantly, they show such genuine love and compassion for my Little Boy Sammy. It's clear they treat every pet like family.
