Real reviews! Dr Shaaf took my situation very seriously. He and his entire staff have a wonderful vibe, they're friendly and personable, and you can feel that they get along well with each other as well as their patients. Dr Shaaf is an expert in his craft. His exam was thorough & they documented all of my eye measurements & took pictures when necessary of anything out-of-the ordinary. I felt in extremely good hands that this doctor will be able to closely track my condition over time to see it changes, which is really the best you could ask for a not-currently-concerning condition. While I was there, I also asked him about my dry eyes & he administered drops to determine the degree of dry-eye and gave me plugs during my appointment. He was very clear in his instructions. Just awesome office and awesome people. I did not expect such good & expert care.

My first visit to the office and I found out the doctor I was scheduled with did not take my insurance. Dr Shaaf's team jumped in and squeezed me in. His eye exam was thorough, his explanation of findings were easy to understand, and we scheduled a follow up visit for the folowing week for a closer look once the hemorrhage cleared up. His staff was all very personable and professional. I highly recommend him.

At first, I was dreading this visit because I didn't know if my acute Aniscoria case would turn into a nightmare medical diagnosis. Walked in and the place was packed full of people, but the turnover was consistent and we were all seen. The entire staff was clearly stressed because of the amount of clients, but they were laughing and having a great time together, which was heartwarming. Rachel is busy, but when she finally got to me it was so nice meeting her and I was inspired by her love of her work as a med student and practitioner myself. My Aniscoria turned out to be something much more exciting for her and the entire office, and it was fun to have them all gather around me to see my pupillary response time to different stimuli. There is a tall guy there who has a great beard and cute face who gave me water and gummies, so when I come back in February I'll be happy to see this team and Doctor again! 5 stars!

Avoid this practice! After being bought out about 2 years ago, it has gone downhill. When the practice first changed hands, they transferred me to another member of the practice without bothering to let me know. Today I had an appointment, but when I came in they said it was canceled. They admit that no one bothered to phone to let me know about the cancellation.
When the receptionist saw me leaving and asked if she could help, she immediately took an incoming phone call and made me wait for her to deal with that phone call. To give priority to a phone call over an actual person standing in front of her, after she offered to help, is rude, to say the least.
To top it off, the "doctor" that they had changed me over to was not even an opthamologist, but an optomitrist, despite the fact that my eye condition needed medical attention.
