Dr. Him is the only Optometrist I have found in San Diego that can get my prescription correct. He is thorough and takes the time to get it right! I wear progressives and have astigmatism. I definitely recommend him.

Dr Ohm is the best doctor, he genuinely cares for his patients. He is helping my son with CRD lens, we are very happy with care he provides. My husband once has accident and Dr Ohm came early to attend him and also helped him over the phone when his bandages got displaced. We are very lucky to find the amazing doctor like him

I had previously been a long term patron of the Shiley Eye Clinic at UCSD. Shiley has a great reputation and if I wanted tier-one care for my eyes, I assumed Shiley was the place to go. Fast-forward a few years and I was in need of an updated prescription for my glasses and contacts. As my office was in Sorrento Valley, I hit Yelp and this Dr. Hom had excellent reviews and he was right up the street. Made an appointment. To my suprise, the exam Dr. Hom performed was more thorough and more detailed that the Shiley exam, and less expensive. I came to the realization that if you have an eye disease, or require an elevated level of care and/or expertise, Shiley is probably an excellent choice. But for a garden-variety annual eye check, Dr. Hom did a far better job, and his overhead is certainly less onerous than Shiley which makes his office visits far less painful to the pocket-book. Dr. Hom is a great find and my whole family has now transferred from Shiley to Hom.

I was a client with Dr. Hom many years ago. I came back to San Diego recently to visit my parents. My contacts ripped and I didn't have a spare pair. I called Dr. Hom's office and explained my situation. Even after all these years of being away (almost 8 years) they were kind enough to give me a trial pair after seeing my current prescription! Such great customer service!

Dr. Hom is an excellent optometrist. He is skillful, attentive, and kind, as is his assistant. I have been to others, and I am glad that I switched to Dr. Hom. I will not change again.
