BEWARE!! Poor practices. Dr will refuse to treat you if you have an acute symptom that require an exam by an ophthalmologist. It doesn't make any sense. Also, don't ever try to change your appointment or you won't be allowed back. My husband did this ONE time, with multiple days notice, and he was not allowed to reschedule. We were told to find a different doctor. Quite perplexing and unreasonable!! The office and policies are not patient friendly!!

The entire staff at Dr Chen were really nice. Dr Chen was very attentive and listened to everything I had to say or every question we had. I definitely recommend Dr Chen.

Called to schedule an appointment because I had vision issues. They are in network. They refused to schedule an appointment until I addressed "acute symptoms." To be clear, they wouldn't even book an appointment! How am I supposed to address my symptoms if I cannot book an appointment with an ophthalmologist. I believe this practice is unethical based on their unwillingness to treat patients with conditions that clearly should be treated by an opthamologist.

Dr Chen is a very knowledgable doctor who spends the time to figure out what is going on. He doesn't rush and doesnt need to because his office is well efficient. I've been going to him for years. Highly recommend.

Dr. Chen is an excellent eye doctor. Great bedside manner and always explains issues in great detail.

Best eye physician ever. He's thorough, kind, and excellent. I'm telling all of my friends about him. Go!!!!

I am not impressed with Dr.Chen. The consultation is expensive and didn't solve the pain neither the source of the problem.

Dr. Chen is one of my favorite doctors in the world. Which is saying a lot, because mostly I'm critical of doctors, as many nurses are- we don't mess around. I have had a long health battle with complications. I owe my sight to Dr. Chen because he caught that I had a torn retina. I came in for a different issue of burnt eyes (don't ask) which he resolved. Then he said he needed to do a full exam, but at first I didn't know if I wanted to pay the co-pay; co-pays and deductibles are so high these days. But I work at a doctor's office and I knew that I did not like it when people skipped out on their exams. Thankfully I went, he did a thorough exam. And surprise to us both he found the Retina Tear. He explained what I had, what I needed, and urged me of the importance of getting it fixed and he rushed me in to Dr. London to get a retina repair the same day. I'm very grateful for his dedication to this field, I've thrown lots of questions at him and he is very helpful. Thank you :) 2026 Update: I continue to see Dr. Chen. If I have anything concerning post retinal repair, or for my yearly exam, they are always a pleasure to work with. I think they are the only Doc's office I look forward to going to. Thanks guys.
