You just hit the jackpot by finding Dr. Haak, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely communicative -- he took the time to clearly explain exactly what was done, what still needs to be done, and why, in a way that was easy to understand and very reassuring. What impressed me most was his integrity: although he is fully qualified and experienced in performing glaucoma surgery himself, he was completely upfront in saying that if surgery becomes necessary, he would recommend a specialist who performs that specific procedure every day, believing it would be the best path for me -- even though it meant referring business away from himself. That level of honesty and patient-first care is rare. His entire office staff was efficient, welcoming, and a pleasure to work with, and the office itself is beautiful, spotless, and equipped with the latest optical technology. Dr. Haak was warm, kind, and made me feel genuinely cared for from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend him without hesitation. He even had easy parking right in front of his office

This is the second time I have seen Dr Haak (no pun intended) and the second fantastic experience. Been able to get an appointment at short notice. Excellent Customer Service! The doctor gave great attention to my mom during our visit. He's very professional and my mom was very comfortable during the injection of her eye. I was so impressed with the clinic Staff and Doctor very patient, compassionate to meet my needs I would recommend anyone. Because I wasn't familiar with the area I had parked far away had a late appointment which they fitted me in at last minute. It was dark when I left so the attending Doctor walked me to my car and made sure I was safe.I travel here from Louisiana for work in the 4 years I have been in California I have never experienced humbleness and concern after service.

This vist was quite a relief and reassuring about my condition. The office was very nice and the staff was very nice. I was seen quickly and the staff, including the doctor were very professional and knowledgeable. I left feeling more relaxed than when I arrived because it was a calming environment. I am 72, and disabled. It is difficult for me to walk very far or Stand too long so it helped that that my wait time was brief as well.

Dr Haak is a highly experienced professional. He took the time to explain cause and effect of my eye problem in great detail. I received firsthand education about my condition and potential solutions. I would highly recommend Dr Haak if you need an experienced ophthalmologist.
