I've been a client at Lake Murray Optometric for over 25 years. Each and every time I come in for my annual eye exam and consultation I feel welcomed and appreciated. Every staff member greets you with a warm hello and smile. My previous Dr. left to another facility so I had the services performed by Dr. Rachel Inlow and she was nothing short of amazing. she was very detailed and conveyed the information in an easy to understand language. I'll definitely be requesting her for my next annual exam. The fees are very reasonable (I had to pay "out of pocket) and I consider a great value. If you're due for you annual exam I highly recommend Lake Murray Optometric without reservation.

Brought my girlfriend here as a walk-in because she had something in her eye that was really bothering her. They were understaffed that day, but still managed to see her within a couple hours. We live close so went home and came back. The doctor was super nice, professional and obviously knew what she was doing. The rest of the staff were also very nice. In the end the doctor found a tiny BUG in her eye and removed it, did a great job of cleaning out any other debris and had one happy patient!

It had been more than ten years since my last eye exam, so I decided to go to Lake Murray this past week and I was so glad I did! Dr. Gonzalez was pretty amazing. He took his time to explain to me what was going on with my vision and encouraged me to continue with my routine eye exams annually. I definitely will be going back to this place! The customer service and patient care was really outstanding. The selection of frames is pretty awesome, too! I was able to find a pair right away :)

Dr. Gonzalez is amazing - he's super smart, friendly, patience, and efficient. The office has all of the latest technology so the tests are painless. He caught my glaucoma really early, for which I'm very grateful. Prior to that, he provided me great follow-up care for my Lasix. The front desk staff is really friendly (shout out to Joanna!) and I've had 100% positive experiences with this office for the last 6 years.

Have always had amazing experiences at this office and am always helped in a timely manner with a very friendly staff! Dr. Gonzalez was great with making sure the eye exam was effective but done in a timely manner, and the staff helped me pick out a great frame when I wasn't sure what looked best since I had never had to wear glasses before. Would highly recommend to everyone!

My recent visit to Lake Murray Optometric Center was a very good experience. The care was very professional and kind. The Doctor spent plenty of time with my exam and answered all my questions. The technician helped me select my glasses; I bought 2 pairs of regular glasses and 1 pair of prescription sunglasses. All three turned out perfectly and I am thrilled with them. I will continue to be a satisfied customer with this great practice.

Went in for an eye exam and to purchase prescription glasses... great experience! Marlene, specifically, was incredible in helping me decipher which glasses suited my needs and she provided great feedback. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience from her and the entire Lake Murray optics' staff. Don't typically have a need to go to an optometrist once I'm set with my glasses; but if I ever do, definitely coming back! Thanks to everyone there!

About Robert Gonzalez, OD
Dr. Gonzalez graduated from San Diego State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduation he spent two years doing genetic research at the University of San Francisco, although he eventually began to grow weary of laboratory work. Seeking to build on his affinity toward science in the direction of helping others, he enrolled in The Illinois College of Optometry, and obtained his doctorate in 2011. Dr. Gonzalez has since dedicated himself to the highest standard of eye care.
