I am ever so grateful for Dr. Llanes and Tessie! Tessie was able to squeeze me in to a ridiculous timeline right before Thanksgiving (stupid insurance issue, not procrastination on my part). My regular doctor was not available and I was panicking to get my exam and glasses covered before insurance ended. Tessie was very communicative, extremely helpful and very friendly. She was not there when I came to my appointment, but Dr. Llanes was also very friendly, explained everything I was doing. NO upcharging. He has an incredible bedside manner. I highly recommend.

The doctor was easy to work with, quick to respond to text, and was able to fit me in that day. I walked out with contacts an hour later and great vision! He also was able to write a RX for another lens for me to buy online as well.

Zero stars. The doctor and staff are unprofessional, impatient, and rude. I'm new to the area/new insurance and needed an eye exam. I called, scheduled the appointment, great. I went in early, filled out paperwork, and was waiting for the doctor, who walked in right as the appointment was supposed to start. The receptionist ran my insurance and said I was only eligible for a free exam, which I knew. No problem. She said they had a great deal on $99 glasses if I wanted. I said no thank you, I need the prescription for contacts and she said that's $50. Cool! $50 for contacts? Wrong, $50 for the contacts exam. I was confused because have never heard of the exams being separate, I've had glasses/contacts for 15 years. I asked her to explain but she just repeated herself with no further details. Then she called the doctor over. The doctor said, "Yes, there are more steps for the contact exam. It costs $50. Why aren't you listening to her she just explained it to you! You guys always want everything for free!" Excuse me? Who are "you guys"? He got in my face, told me to go somewhere else, that he was busy, and stormed off. When I started to ask my question again, because I really did want to understand, the receptionist cut me off not once, not twice, but three times. I asked them for the paper work I had filled out with all of my information, they gave it to me reluctantly, and I left. I do not recommend this place for anyone.

Friendly, Professional and Very Welcoming. Would recommend to Friends n Family. This was our first time here n will definately continue as our Primary Optometrist.
