I got flawless and fantastic service and treatment at the Stonecrest Murphy Canyon Stanton Optical location today. Dr. Houchin was unbelievably precise, efficient, astute, personable, and on top of everything, she immediately detected that I had WMD and gave me instructions on treatment options and stressed the need for me to continue to see a retina specialist. She did this within the first five minutes of the exam. I got this diagnosis last year after a seeing a team of ophthalmologists who took multiple exams to come to that same conclusion and yet she does it in five minutes. Unbelievable! LOL. The entire exam was top notch and very, very professional. She's awesome! And, I want to give a very positive shout out to Elias who was the vision technician who supported me every step of the way. He was 100% focused on listening to me and helping me get the right type of glasses with the best features that met my needs and I was grateful for his assistance. At no time was there any pressure to "upsell" me anything. He was a class act and I very much appreciated all that he did. And, let me also acknowledge Alex and Teresa because these professionals were the first people I spoke with and they paved the way for my incredibly positive experience. If you need high-quality vision care, at excellent prices. from a top-tier group of professionals, then you should do yourself a favor and go to this Stanton Optical location. You will thank yourself for doing so! :) Dixon

I had such a positive experience at this Stanton Optical ! (-: everyone was nice and I was so lucky to receive help from Teresa, she was amazing ! She made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. I told her the vibe of frames I was going for and she hit it right on the nail understanding exactly what I was looking for ! (-: I left feeling so excited and I absolutely love my new frames and contacts for switching it up !

Horrible experience. I came in specifically for an eye exam and a prescription. Nowhere is it clearly advertised that this is a telehealth/hybrid exam. The optometrist was remote and virtual, not in person, which felt misleading and appears to be how the service is kept so cheap. I was not given a prescription, yet was told I would need to pay upfront to reschedule with their in-person optometrist in order to get one. That is unacceptable. On top of that, the sales representative on the floor was openly speaking poorly about other clients who were calling in for support. This conversation was loud, unprofessional, and clearly audible to customers. Overall, extremely unprofessional and misleading. I walked out without paying because I did not receive the service I came for. Very dissatisfied.

Had a 6:30 appointment for an eye exam. Arrived at 6:30 and waited in the lobby for 15mins before I was greeted by the one person in the building. She informed me the person who does the exams already left. I asked her why would they schedule me an appointment for a time when there's nobody to service me? No answer, just tried to schedule me for the next day, I won't be returning.

I came in confused regarding the pricing and how it's applied to my needs. That's when I met Brandon and he was so patient with me as I ask so many questions. He is so passionate in what he does and how he goes above and beyond to provide a clear understanding of it all. Thank you so much Brandon . Murphy Canyon Location was Great.

They open at 9:00am, yet as of 9:33am they still weren't open...My appointment was at 9:15am. The techs were waiting outside with me because the person that is supposed to open was not there. They were kind and apologetic, but as comforting as that was it was not their fault. To make matters worse as I waiting I began talking to another customer that was waiting and found out this was his 4th time there because his prescription was messed up on 4 separate occasions. He was only there to pick up his glasses, but was stuck waiting like me. That was the last straw and I took all this as a sign I should leave. I called customer service to let them know what happened and the agent wasn't concerned at all and just asked me if I wanted to cancel the appointment or reschedule....Honestly never had this type of experience before at any optometrist I've ever been too. Needless to say I will be going somewhere else. Really sucks that I wasted my time and gas here, but at least they showed me ahead of time so I won't waste any more. Good luck if you choose to go here, hard pass for me.

I had such a positive experience from the moment I walked in at Stanton Optical! I highly recommend them! Each associate was so helpful from exam to glasses. Teresa was professional, polite and extremely helpful! I walked out with a smile on my face!

I came to Stanton Optical because of their advertisement that clearly states **$79 for two pairs of glasses and a free eye exam, same day**. I do not have insurance, and this offer is the ONLY reason I chose this location. From the beginning, things did not add up. I told the doctor upfront that I was on a tight budget, did not care about fashion, and only needed the **cheapest glasses to be able to drive**. I even mentioned that I already had a prescription and just needed to grab it from my car. After returning with my prescription, a staff member was kindly helping me, but the doctor interrupted and suddenly told me I **had to pay $359**, then claimed he was giving me a "discount" by lowering it to **$320 out the door**. This was shocking and completely different from what they advertise. I explained again that I could only afford **$120**, and the doctor bluntly said **"absolutely not."** No explanation, no attempt to honor the advertised pricing, nothing. I wasted **over an hour** of my time waiting and discussing options, only to be told that the advertised deal did not apply to me. This felt like false advertising and a complete bait-and-switch. Very disappointed. If you are on a budget or going in because of their ads, be careful -- you may not get the price they promise.
