As the year was coming to a close, I realized that I was in need of a vision check and contacts. I started looking for a provider in the area and chose Total Vision because the online scheduling made it so easy. I expected a quick and perfunctory contact lens fitting. What I got instead was the best vision care appointment of my life! From the moment I arrived I was treated with tremendous kindness by the entire staff. Dr. Thiem is professional and thorough but also super kind and funny! I would like to shout out Michelle who checked me in, Ruben who administered the other vision tests, and Ian who helped me choose an amazing pair of frames. I wasn't originally wasn't going to buy frames but I fell in love with them and couldn't say no. They had a great variety of frames in stock to choose from.
I really enjoyed my appointment at Total Vision! I would recommend this office to anyone, and will definitely come back in the future for my vision care needs. Thank you so much Total Vision team: you guys made my day. :)

I have been coming to total vision since it was just Arena Eyeworks (2015)! Honestly the best optometrist office in my opinion in San Diego. I moved to Denver for a few years and when I moved back and got married I came back and even referred my husband. The staff is so personable and accommodating, The doctors are so professional and friendly, and the office has plenty of parking and is always clean. Bonus, they even have a little coffee station for those early morning appointments.

I am so glad that I chose total vision. By far the best experience I've ever had getting glasses in contacts. I double checked their contact lens prices against Costco and they were exactly the same. The eyeglass Specialist Karen is superb. I was actually assisted by someone else as well and he was also amazing. They are perfectly happy to give you adjustments, change out nose pads for softer ones, and they ensure you are extremely satisfied with your experience and that includes letting you take as much time as you need to find the perfect frame. The optometrist is highly skilled at my location and I have complete confidence that the health of my eyes is being looked after. I have extremely high standards so this review is Meaningful.

Michelle Sims was so helpful, and she helped me get my contacts (air optics colors) 2 days before my trip. Other places turned me away saying it would 2 weeks to received them. However, Michelle let me know she could order them directly from the manufacture and have them shipped right to me. I want to let her know I am truly thankful for her help and going above and beyond. Total Vision is the best in San Diego! If you are looking for a place to get your eyeglases please give them a try. You won't be disappointed! I used them many years ago and left to find a cheaper place and went to other places and found myself back here because of the customer service, time, quality of materials and the overall experience!
