I have been wearing prescription eyeglasses for years and can't believe I didn't find Urban Optiks sooner, this place is amazing! I made an appointment online and when I showed up for my appointment, Patti spent an hour with me pulling out over 25 frames for me to try on and she was very good at helping me choose ones that fit the shape of my face. They had a nice variety of frames with a low bridge, which are hard to find! Patti knew the best way to use my VSP insurance to provide the highest discount on my lenses. She provided printed itemized quotes so I knew exactly what I was paying for on the cost of the frames and lenses. Patti was also great at providing me options to keep my eyeglass purchases within my budget. My glasses were ready in two weeks! I made an appointment to pick them up and have them fitted. Francisco was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and meticulous in making adjustments to ensure the arms of the glasses fit properly over and behind my ears, as well, that the frame was level on my face. Francisco had to make several adjustments and was so patient and nice in providing me the perfect fit for my glasses! Urban Optiks has a large selection of quality eyeglass frames in various price ranges, the customer service is amazing, and overall a very friendly and professional business. I will definitely be back, thank you, Patti and Francisco!

Best selection of frames in San Diego, with a staff to match. Even though I don't live nearby, I always look forward to making the trip to UO to see their beautiful, (often) hand-assembled, fashion-forward inventory. Most recently, Serina did a terrific job helping me choose a new pair of frames, updating the prescription in another, and converting a third pair into sunglasses. The service was thoughtful and seamless from start to finish. If you value quality and finely crafted eyewear, UO is the place to go. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience with Urban Optiks. Came in to find frames and Francisco patiently spent a good amount of time with me helping me find interesting ones that fit my (extra large?) head. They have a broad selection of contemporary and traditional frames that I have not seen in other shops. Quick turn around on production and Francisco was very careful in ensuring they fit properly and I was happy with the frames. Overall excellent experience and I highly recommend the shop.

I have been going to the optometrists here since 2014, as well as getting prescription glasses over that time. Both aspects of the business are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this office. They have a diverse frame selection from upper tier designers. The frames and lenses aren't cheap, but I've been very happy with their quality and longevity (specifically ic Berlin frames). They take VSP insurance for both exams and glasses. Definitely worth a look if you need an optometrist and/or a pair of nice glasses!

I had such great experience at Urban Optiks. From the second, I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff. Patti, the optician lead was so knowledgeable and helped me find the right frame that suited me. She was so patient and I felt like I was the only one that mattered to her. My experience with Dr. Klein was unbelievable. He is so kind and caring and had such a great bedside manner. He took his time examining my eyes and made sure I got the best prescription/vision as I expressed my previous experience (not so stellar) elsewhere. During my exam, I knew immediately he was so experienced, and he made sure I was dialed in. I picked up my glasses today. This is the best I've seen in many years. Although, Trivex lenses cost more, it was the best choice, I've learned you get what you pay for. I couldn't be any happier. Thank you Dr Klein and Patti for making it a wonderful experience. Lastly, it was so convenient that they are open on Saturday!!
