Just finished my annual eye exam and, once again, I can say that I am very pleased with the care I receive from the friendly, professional staff. Dr Johnson always explains what he is doing and why and the staff is very knowledgeable in all areas of support and really work with your insurance coverage to create the best choices for you. Highly recommend.

I've been seeing Dr. Steven Klein for over 10 years. He is personable, knowledgeable, and always clearly explains procedures and everything going on with your eyes. No other doctor I've ever had in my young 60 years has ever been so thorough as Dr. Klein. He is the best doctor EVER!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Klein and Dr Plattner since they first started their practice in Tierrasanta. They are very knowledgeable and give very thorough exams. I am most impressed by the very latest in technology that they have to make sure that the prescriptions for lenses are accurate. We are going on twenty something years with them and have no plans to change doctors.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gregory Hayes since Tierrasanta Vision first opened. I love that we have such great eye care so close to home. The care is excellent and Dr. Hayes is very thorough and friendly.The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because the optometry section could use a little improvement. The prices for glasses seems a little high for one thing. And in the past I have had to call to see if my glasses were ready finding that they were done they forgot to call. I just visited this week and they seem to be more on top of things so I am hoping that has improved. If not I will just continue to go to Dr. Hayes and get my glasses elsewhere. Otherwise, it is a great place.

I am continually impressed with the level of professionalism and TVC. My family and I have been patients here for over 20 years. I'm thrilled to say that after all these years they continue to have an incredible facility with the hottest styles in frames and lenses (and they know how to help us pick out our favorites to look great)! At my last visit, Dr. Johnson shared with me some new research that pertained to a hereditary medical condition. Combined with the great technology in their office, I was able to really understand where I stand and it was a great relief to know I have such a great team looking out for the health of my family. I was very impressed about the thoroughness of the pre-exam as well as Dr. Johnson's exam. Dr. Johnson explained all my exam results in great detail but in a way that was easily understandable. I'm a post-Radial Keratotomy patient who has undergone several procedures and as a result I had the opportunity to be a patient of world-renown West coast doctors. I felt Dr. Johnson was one of the best I had ever visited. I would highly recommend Total Vision Care Optometry.

This place is amazing and accepts TRICARE insurance! Dr. Johnson is very thorough in his responses to any of your questions. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Their is always pleasantry in their voices and they never hesitate to stop what they are doing to help you out. They are also very quick with getting you in and out of the office. Love this place! Will be sad to leave it when my husband and I have to PCS!

Randomly found this office online because the excepted my insurance and I AMAZED when I got in the next day to be seen, received prompt service getting my ordered contacts and most certainly will be back to this office. Dr. Nathan Johnson was very helpful explaining my insurance coverage and new changes available to me due to current prescription.
