Excellent and friendly staff. HUGE office with lots of selection. Opticians are highly knowledgeable, as well as front desk staff. My insurance was throughly explained to me prior to my appointment. Minimal wait time with even the opportunity to look at some frames before my appointment started. Dr. Strebig is one of the most thorough eye doctors I have been to. This was my first time coming to this location and I will definitely be back and have officially been "won over" by the girls in Southbury.

Im not one to write reviews, but my experience here was truly horrible. This was my first time using them for new lenses and I was told my glasses were thrown away by their cleaning crew. The manager called me stating I could pick any glasses I want even though I signed a waiver. Waiver did NOT say I was responsible if THEY LOST my glasses. I went in to pick any pair and the manager switched up on me saying I could only pick from a *certain selection*, anything else I was responsible for half the cost. I have a voicemail saying I could pick ANY frames at no charge but that was not honored. The manager Nicole was EXTREMELY rude and has not returned my calls to rectify this situation. I should not be financially responsible for their mistake. Horrible first impression.

What an easy and positive experience! I was pleased to be able to call and get an appointment quickly despite it being the holiday season. Emily the tech was friendly and willing to explain the purpose of each test. I highly recommend Dr. Todd. Past eye doctors said I had dry eye and should use drops but she was the first to explain, beside discomfort, not using drops was effecting my vision! And Laura, the woman fitting me for glasses listened to my concerns and found me a pair that flattered my, um, odd shaped face. (My opinion, not hers). The Southbury store has a huge selection of glasses to choose from too! 5 stars for service, convenience and trustworthiness.

Made an appt online and when I arrived at Dr Filchak location I had no idea southbury had a second location?.Dr Filchak office was kind and called ahead to the other location on Main Street to let them know I was on my way. Due to my own mistake I was a little late arriving 8:47 for 8:40 appt. As I walked in apologizing for my mistake I was rudely treated by the receptionist. After she continued to accost me with aggressive attitude- I let her know I was leaving as I refuse to be spoken to in that manner. She then suddenly changed her tone and said I could still be seen but I would have to wait a little. I don't mind waiting especially due to my own mistake, but I refused to stay after being treated so badly so I left and made an appointment with Dr. Filchak location. Customer service is key, especially in small communities like Southbury, unfortunately due to this negative experience I will never recommend this office location.

I highly recommend MyEyeDr. in Southbury. Everyone was very helpful, from the receptionist, the Dr., the manager, and especially Jasmine, who helped me with my glasses. Thank you for being so accommodating to my needs.

Wonderful eye care office. Very clean the staff was very nice and Dr. Adem was very kind and helpful in explaining everything during my exam. I would recommend being able to check out right away at the front desk rather than waiting for staff in the eyeglass department to check out. Other than that wonderful experience!

It seems all the bad reviews are from people who want a best friend not an eye doctor. I came to them to them with an emergency. They made time for me and took care of the emergency. I don't know what more you could expect or want.

I had an appointment with Michelene Todd, OD today. She did not wash her hands or put gloves on before touching my eyeballs. She was short in her explanations to me when asked about my vision changes. I would not recommend for an eye exam.
