Dr Duss is one of the best. He is very knowledgeable and diagnosed with confidence. His team is great too.

I really appreciate Dr Duss and the team, at Atlantic Eye Institute @ Jax Beach, from the friendly reception to skilled technicians to knowledgeable and helpful assistants. Every person you work with, during your appointment, is a superstar as far as making the patient feel valued, comfortable, tended to. Dr Duss has been my Dr for several years and I see him 1-2 times a year. His expertise, communication style, attention to detail, patience and professionalism are a few things that make him a cute above other ophthalmologist. If I have something, I know he will find it and then fix it. Also, Dr Lancaster, a great Optometrist, is what I call the "punctual plug whisper" his technic is fast with zero pain or discomfort. The office is well designed, comfortable and though at times seems "full", this team is very efficient at moving patients though the process while not making the any of us feel rushed. Great job and Thank you for taking such great care of me!

Dr. Duss is an excellent surgeon and diagnostician. I had cataract removal/ implant laser surgery performed on both eyes about 11 months apart. Extremely satisfied with the results. It is so wonderful to have sharp crystal clear vision again.

I have been an off and on patient of Dr Booras' office for probably 14 years. He was my parent's PCP since before I can remember. My husband and I recently found ourselves needing to switch general practices so naturally I went back to who I knew. We started seeing the newer ARNP, Shelby Augustine, there and she is absolutely amazing! She not only takes so much time to talk to you about your issues but she knows her limitations as a general practitioner and will tell you when something is out of the scope of her knowledge. I think that's such a great quality in a physician because alot of them have a "God complex" and think they know everything. Being younger and newer to the clinical side of the medical field she has asked Dr. Booras' advice on many things in regards to my medications and suggestions to help treat me. She is not afraid to admit that she doesn't have all of the answers and has even suggested I see certain specialists instead of her trying to act like she knows everything about every specialty of medicine. She is so sweet and you can really tell that she loves what she does and truly cares for the patients she sees. I see my husband and I staying with this practice and specifically with her for as long as she's available.

I highly recommend Atlantic Eye Institute, the doctors are amazing and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I have to brag on Dr. Duss, I couldn't get in to have my contact removed and he came to me. His professionalism and expertise was second to none and I would highly refer him to anyone. His services far exceeded my expectations.

Very professional yet with a since of humor. Excellent communication explaining my eye problem. Would for sure recommend him!!
