I went for a visit as a recommendation from my eye Dr. After paying my bill I thought everything was fine. 2 years after my appointment I receive a bill that they demanded I pay but couldn't tell me where the money came from. I had already paid my bill and insurance already paid them as well. Somehow 2 years later I still owe money. I was supposed to receive an email with a itemized receipt that I never received. I was also told they would get with the billing department and call me back which never happened. Now I have a letter saying they are sending me to collections so I finally just paid it. Just beware that years after your appointment you might owe money they can't explain.

My husband and I are so thankful for the excellent care he has received at St. Luke's. He just completed cataract surgery, and also has his eyes monitored for glaucoma. I have sat in the waiting rooms in the Tarpon Springs Surgery Center, and the St. Pete office, and have been amazed at the kindness, respect, and personal attention given to all patients by every staff member. His doctors are professional, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Everything is efficient and well organized, and all staff take the time to answer all our questions. We are very happy to have been referred to St. Luke's.

Had an eye stye which lasted for over a month an after seeing an optometrist, I was suggested to find an ophthalmologist instead. After calling several businesses St Luke's could see me the quickest, so I scheduled an appointment. The doctor who I saw was nice enough and prescribed me some meds which did the trick. Before leaving, they scheduled me for a follow-up appointment which took place 3 weeks later. When I came in, I asked if it was a follow-up and if I owed any money and they said "no". I later found out that they billed my insurance for the second visit as a regular doctor's appointment. All they did was look at my eyelid and confirmed that it was all good now. I also owed money for the part which my insurance didn't cover. They don't have a direct number, everything is through the third party, so I couldn't even speak to the front desk who misinformed me. The third party spoke to "their manager who confirmed that it was a regular doctor's appointment"... Pretty shady...

I go to the St. Luke's in Clearwater but I took my husband to Saint Petersburg St. Luke's when he had an eye infection that was really really bad and they took him right away and then referred us to university of South Florida doctors which we got through Tampa General ER but they let us in the right direction and tomorrow we go for his follow up after many after two months of eyedrop and Checks anyway everyone was very nice I am very impressed with the surgery at Tarpon Springs I had my cataracts done and it's a top-notch place to get your eyes done I'm so glad my friend Toby to go there from the beginning and I got involved in St. Luke's Eye Institute and I'm so happy for myself and my husband.
