From beginning to end my visit was a seamless and positive experience. The intake staff are welcoming and professional. Dr Schoenberg was thorough and did not rush. He answered all my questions with patience and care. Highly recommend this practice. That said, as with most eye physician's appointments, you have to allow time to wait.

This practice gets one star only because there isn't a zero! My appointment was yesterday at 10:15. Shortly after I arrived, the staff announced in the waiting area that they were already "2 to 3 hours behind" and to come to the desk to reschedule if you couldn't stay that long. I heard people discussing how they had to drive 2 hours to just get to the appointment. Also, how does a professional business manage to get 3 hours behind by 10:30am??!? Obviously, the message is that nobody else's time or inconvenience matters. This was not an isolated incident as it has happened several times previously at all of the offices. To say it is not a well run office is an huge understatement. Although the physicians are generally good when you FINALLY get to see them, my recent basic surgery to remove a cataract and put in a lens was botched. The lens was for distance which improved nothing and made my vision worse because now I see halos around the lights of cars and even looking at a ceiling light which is caused by the new lens. I'm currently looking for another practice because this one is beyond awful on soooo many levels. As soon as another large eye practice moves in, this practice is toast!

Dr Mally is awesome! She walked me through the Chalazion procedure step by step to alleviate any anxiety I might have had. The procedure itself was seamless and primarily pain free. The support staff is wonderful and conversational. The only issue is the online check-in process. That was not without pain. For several questions there were way too many options to choose from which took time. After multiple attempts to update everything, the system freezing and having to do it again, I finally thought I had finished only to learn that a key piece of information (current prescriptions) wasn't updated nor did it populate when I was checking in. The system itself could be a ton better and user friendly, but the practice itself was fantastic.

I've been a patient at GA Eye Partners since meeting Dr. Evan Shoenburg, and I can say with confidence that he's among the most attentive, knowledgeable, and personable doctors I've ever worked with. Even though my current insurance doesn't cover GA Eye Partners, I've continued to see Dr. Shoenburg as a self-pay patient because the level of care he provides is simply unmatched. We're actually changing insurance this year to make sure we can remain under his care. Dr. Shoenburg is thorough and proactive -- he takes the time to identify the root cause of any issue and, when needed, coordinates directly with other specialists to ensure nothing is overlooked. His approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and genuinely patient-centered. I always leave his office feeling cared for and prioritized -- not just another appointment on the schedule. That kind of personal attention is rare, and it reflects the culture of GA Eye Partners as a whole. If you're looking for an ophthalmologist who truly listens, follows through, and treats you like a partner in your care, I can't recommend Dr. Shoenburg and his team highly enough.

I would avoid this practice because they have poor business practices. I notified the front desk on check in that I had cobra coverage, she checked my insurance card and said all was fine. During my exam, while I was waiting for dilation drops to take effect, the same young lady came into the room and said - actually your insurance will not cover this exam. You will have to self pay. I asked to speak to the manager, Maritza Hoyos, and she said- sorry, she's new here. This is really unfair to me because I could have waited until my new insurance started and would not have had to pay out of pocket. Additionally, after paying what they said my total was, I received an additional bill 6 months later saying I owed more. They need better trained and more caring office staff.

Very thorough consultation on 2-5-26 with Dr Pooja Malley regarding lower-lid blepharoplasty, surgery, options, & costs. Office staff were welcoming & professional. I would feel comfortable & confident having Dr Malley perform this surgery & the care I would receive.

Dr. Schoenberg was able to get me in for an urgent situation. The entire team was fantastic, and obviously worked well together. I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate everything that they did for me. Highly recommend!

Facility is modern, staff is kind. Some of the reviews say they waited a long time to be seen, however that was not my experience. I was seen fairly quickly. Dr Mally was the best doctor I've encountered in a long time. She was immensely professional, thorough and was sure to explain in explicit detail what she was doing throughout my procedure, to calm my nerves. She was very kind. Definitely coming back here for future eye appointments and needs.
