I called for an appointment and was able to get in right away same day as a new patient. Front desk was pleasant and super helpful. Roxanna is good at what she does and very friendly. Dr Petty is thorough friendly professional and personable. I will be back
My visit with Dr. Ayana Robateau was great! She was thorough and answered all of my questions with patience. She was the only Doctor that explained in details the effects of diabetes, and the aging effects on the vision. I was very impressed.
I recommended her to a family member. I really recommend scheduling an appointment with her for your eye care need. I give her a 5 rating. If the score was higher, I would have given her higher. Thank you Dr. Robateau.
This was indeed the best eye exam I have ever had in years. It was very detailed throughout. I felt safe and was assured all that should have been done was accomplished. I am a 20 year USAF Veteran and have had many many exams, often times feeling like just a number, but this was not the case during my exam. I felt and saw the concern of the workers. I am a disabled Vet and the Hostess/Receptionist came over without asking and assisted me in placing my IDs in the registering machine. I was well pleased and if anybody complains about their service, they must have had a bad day or year.Thank you Clayton Eye for going beyond the call of duty. A++ RATING. My doctor was exceptional. This was my fist time visiting the servicing facilities. Thank you. Matthew S. Brown Jr.
The center itself was fine. It was large and busy with a lot of moving parts, but seemed to be run like a well oiled machine. All of the staff we met were pleasant, courteous and professional.
Between the different eye tests, scans and dilation there were several staff members that worked with my husband, but in particular Aijah and Jabria were exceptional. They were very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. They are both a great asset to the Clayton Eye Center!
Unfortunately, I can't say that about everyone we met yesterday.
Dr.Joon Kim, whom I believe is the Medical Director of the Center, the person you might think would be the most professional, was extremely rude, arrogant and disrespectful.
His behavior was a huge disappointment to what otherwise had been a great day.
When he entered the room, he didn't speak or introduce himself. Both my husband and I said hello which he barely acknowledged. He just said "I have to check the chart". After doing so, there was still no conversation or pleasantries from him at all, even though we both tried to engage him. He just told my husband to sit forward, rest his chin on the shelf and his forehead against the top. My husband complied, but apparently he wasn't close enough so instead of asking again or explaining further he put his hands on both sides of his jaw and tried to just yank him forward. I'm not going to drag on about every detail and complaint, but suffice it to say he continued being disrespectful and rude, trying to grab, pull and yank rather than making respectful requests, one adult to another.
Finally, my husband had enough and asked him to raise the chair to a sitting position. He then stood up and just walked out. He said later that he felt that was the best course of action, rather than to allow Dr Kim's disrespect and rudeness to disrupt his day any further.
I did stay behind for a few minutes, trying to explain the impact of his behavior, but it was clear to me that sometimes that level of arrogance makes it difficult for a person to see and understand how their behavior can affect people. Dr. Kim is just one person, so even though his actions and attitude brought our visit to an abrupt end, I am confident that his behavior is not indicative of all the staff there. We are hopeful that the majority are more like Aijah and Jabria, focused on serving their clients with kindness, respect and professionalism!
I have been going to Clayton Eye Center for quite a few years now. Dr. Harvey Dubiner, who has since passed was my doctor. He was always so personable and willing to answer any question I had. He actually told me once that he wished more patients were as inquisitive about their health. His daughter, Lauren Dubiner is now my doctor and I'm just as pleased being under her care. Like her father, she is very personable and always answers the questions I have to my satisfaction. I feel that I am in the hands of a very capable doctor who I trust.
I have been going to Clayton Eye for years, this was my first experience with Dr. Bui and she was amazing! Dr. Bui actually ask if you have any concerns, listens and acknowledges your concerns without being dismissive. Very pleasant upbeat personality and professional. The technician that checked me was very pleasant as well, very out going and funny. Thanks ladies for a wonderful experience (1/23/2026).
Excellent timely reception for the appointment. Their assistant was very thorough with review and preparing me for the doctor. Dr. Chen was his usual professional and jovial self. He's been my doctor for many years. His review of my past and updated condition were great. At 78 I have 20/20 vision, no glaucoma and no need for glasses other than for reading small print. Check in next year
My experience was a very good visit. The staff persons were all friendly and warm. Dr.L.Dubiner was very kind and gentle but also very knowledgeable and made sure she explained my needs to me in a manner that I understood. I felt that I would be well cared for with her. Thank you Dr. Dubiner and staff.
