My kids and I really enjoyed our experience here. The doctor was super nice and helped my daughter through her eye exam. She's only 8 so it was all very new to her. I also wanted to mention Tristan, she was so wonderful, kind, and helpful. I really appreciated her patience, welcoming demeanor, and willingness to help.

Tristen (sp) was such a great help my daughter has test to take for school Wednesday and she dropped her glasses and someone ran them over so I had to see if I could get another pair.Tristen assist me and help me get a order placed on rush she stated she will call and let me know if I could pick them up tomorrow. Took my 9 year old here for her annual eye exam for the first time. since My Eye Dr. weren't taking patients under 10 years old anymore with their newer system, their receptionist recommended this place. Downtown's doc and their staff were very nice. And although our budget was limited for a number of frames, we picked something nice that complimented my daughter's face, they had a bit of every style. And her new pair of glasses were ready a week early than they estimated -Lucky! Thank you Downtown Opticians. Will be coming back. <3

I've been to this location several times and had a great experience. Tristan took her time to help my boys pick out their very first frames (and they were picky!). Tristan was very knowledgeable and helped them pick out frames we all loved. I would highly recommend working with her! Very knowledgeable, caring and professional!

The doctor was excellent with my six year old. We were seen quickly. However, the exam skipped the normal machines that help figure out the prescription, and it shows. After three months, my daughter can barely see through her glasses, which are usually around the tip of nose anyway. I've been making her wear them up until today in hopes it was a matter of adjustment, but it turns out that the visit was a waste of time and an insurance-covered visit. I'm going to let her wear her old pair until I take her somewhere else - this pair is useless. Never going back.

Unprofessional. I make an appointment almost two weeks ago, was told yes they accept Medicaid. I get a call on Saturday, three days before my appointment Tuesday. They don't accept Medicaid for people over 21. I couldn't care less if it's a management policy. It's beyond unprofessional to not give that information beforehand. It was even funnier when they thought I'd want to drive further to Macon and give this company ANY business after pulling such a stunt. This place is off my list. Read their so-called "reply." Not calling me until three days before my appointment was a conscious CHOICE. I will NOT be calling them, because what questions would there to be? They have poor customer service.

I got my exam elsewhere, but chose my glasses from this location. Every one was super helpful, patient,
and let me try on as many frames as I wanted even though all that I touched, they had to sanitize due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If seeing the obstetrician here were as great as the service I was presented with, this is definitely top notch. As stated eaier, I never saw the obstetrician at this office. Great Job ladies!
