Eyeglass World

Purchased glasses at Eyeglass World in Warner Robins, GA. Two weeks after purchasing them, one of the lenses fell out and into an area I could not retrieve the lens from. I purchased the most expensive lenses, with all the add ons and a 1 year replacement. Eyeglass World told me that the 1 year replacement is not valid because the lenses is not able to be sent with the frames to repair. The frames did not break, just the lens fell out. I was told I would have to pay $100 to repair them. I came back with the $100 and was told it is now $240 because they changed how the anti glare is done and now I have to do both lenses. So I bought their most expensive options, paid for a 1 year protection and due to the lack of craftsmanship in putting the lenses in the frames, Eyeglass World left me with no glasses, an offer to fix for $100 then the next month it's $240. So now I sit, three months after paying hundreds of dollars for the highest quality item they provide with no glass and needing to pay $240 on top of my insurance paying $130 to get glasses. So this single pair of glasses are going to cost me roughly $1,000. Now I'm back to wearing my 17 year old pair from LensCrafters that are still intact. I've contacted the local management, who told me a district manager would call me, that never happened. I also contacted the website asking for support and did not get a reply. I recommend going to a different company, Eyeglass World gave me a defective product claiming it was their best options then did not honor the protection plan I purchased while management hides behind very friendly support staff with no authority to make a decision.

They are great! I left Browns Eye Center because they did me dirty and have no customer service skills. So it's hard to trust after that, but as soon as I walked in the door, it was very refreshing. The space is open and very welcoming. Very cleans store. The ladies in the front and back are so nice and helpful. They actually have a conversation with you, rather than get you in and out. The doctor was very helpful and answered questions. My script has changed but on point. Sooo much more selection than anywhere else ive seen. They gave me space to find my right pair and boy did I. LOVE them! I definitely recommend them! Thank you guys for everything.

Dr. Xu is great, been seeing him for years now. The best eye doctor I've had. Kim in the front helped me pick out glasses. She took the time to show me the ones that would fit me the best and explained why. She was so nice and patient. Great team!

I have worn glasses my entire life and never experienced such unprofessional, disorganized, and frankly careless treatment from an eye care provider. This office has completely failed to meet even the basic standards of communication, follow-through, and respect for patient needs. The doctor rushed through my exam as if I were a burden, spending barely five minutes with me. When I requested a necessary accommodation letter for my job, the one they initially sent was so poorly written that my employer said it made no sense and was completely invalid. This forced me to request a corrected version -- which I've now been waiting on since Saturday. It is now Friday, and not only has the updated letter still not been sent, but I've also been ignored and left hanging in a situation that directly affects my employment and ability to work safely. This kind of treatment is absolutely unacceptable. It shows a complete disregard for patient care, urgency, and responsibility. A simple task like faxing a corrected letter to my doctor has turned into a week-long ordeal -- and still, nothing. If you're looking for eye care where you'll be taken seriously, respected, and properly supported, look elsewhere. This experience has been beyond disappointing -- it's been infuriating.

Both Drs. Xu are great! Thorough exam, friendly service and all employees are great! Highly recommend them!

I was in excruciating pain and my eyesight was doubling, After two hospital visits and two ct scans I got tired of being sent home with " migraines" I called eye glass world on a Saturday and Peggy got me in ASAP! Also Kaia was the sweetest. I saw Dr. XU and he immediately found my problem and found fluid build up behind my eyes. I was sent to the er for a lumbar puncture and diagnosed with IIH. I am so thankful for this wonderful team of people for helping me so fast!!!!

I went there 2 weeks ago and had a great experience all the staff was super friendly and helpful. The appointment didn't take long at all had exam for both contacts and glasses. Kim was amazing helped me find some of the cutest frames ever and hands down an amazing personality. Definitely will be returning

Fast wonderful service. You actually see a dr! Kim helped me pick out two beautiful pairs of glasses. And they came in less than a week later! Everyone has been amazing. I'm not going back to the old place ever again.
