Gina Rainey and her team at the vision center are an exceptional team. I've never had a Dr Office that made personal calls to check on their patients. Recently on 9/11 my husband was seen at the vision center "after" hours for his inability to see out of his right eye. The doctor quickly identified a detached retina and made calls for my husband to been seen as soon as possible at a retina specialist. Not only did Gina and members of her team call personally to check on us, but they were persistent about calling for updates concerning his eye health. I'm forever grateful for the kindness extended to my husband by Gina and her staff of extremely qualified individuals. In the current world where customer service seems to be lacking, Walmart Vision Center is ahead of the game and excelling in customer care. Thanks again Gina for a job well done!

Do not go here, they just want your money. Xu got my prescription wrong and cut me off when I tried to explain my vision symptoms. When my wife called to cancel her appointment to find another doctor, the woman over the phone rudely said" You won't find a better eye doctor anywhere else " and hung up the phone. The experience is quite jaw dropping and is further proof that customer service has truly been 3.0 or less nationwide for decades!

The first time I ordered glasses, they got the prescription completely wrong. To the point that the glasses were entirely unusable. I don't know why I went back. I gave them a second chance. I ordered a $600+ pair of sunglasses on Jan 6. I was lied to on multiple occasions. First it was 2 weeks, then 3 weeks, then it was raybans lab delays...I even got the number to Tammy who is the District General Manager for National Vision to try to get some help. Despite multiple attempts to reach her, she doesn't answer the phone or return calls. Then they said they were at luxottica...uh...I thought you said they were at Ray-Ban. 5 weeks goes by, so I call back. Then no joke, they said they don't have a number for the lab, and had to "Google" the number. Then she says the number is in Italy. I said you ordered my glasses from Italy? Apparently none of them has any ability to contact their vendors to get an ETA on anything they order. This is the most incompetent business I've ever dealt with. I never received my glasses and got a refund....I hope. They should fire them all. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING. I'd give them -5 stars if I could.

I usually go to America's Best but they did not have a Dr. on duty so I ended up at the Walmart Vision Center. The staff was very friendly and worked me in asap as I was a walkin. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the demeanor of Dr. Xu but he was great. He even gave me some insight on my 'bad eye,' which no other doctor has really done for me in my adulthood. Anyway, I don't think he's rude. I just think some folks are less attuned to people of other cultures. Overall 10/10 from me!

We had the best experience with getting our 4 year olds eyes checked and glasses ordered! Dr Xu, Gina, and all of the staff were extremely patient in working with him. When our order came, Gina also made sure they fit perfectly and even taught him how to properly put on/take off his glasses! We are very thankful!

I have been here four times, twice for exams and the other two for adjustments/fitting. I order my contacts through them monthly. The prices are great and everyone has always been nice. The opthamologists (have seen both) are knowledgeable and accurate. They take our vision insurance. It's always fast and easy. My 10 year old was recently fitted for contacts. The lady who helped her was super patient.

I went for a contact exam and the contacts irritated me after wearing them for a hour (severe migraines). I went in and requested a new appointment. I explained to the girl that this was for a exam I previously had and needed to be seen again. She said ok you only have so many days to come back in which I already knew. She scheduled my appointment and when I went back in I was told I was outside of my time limit and would have to pay out of pocket for another exam. I explained to her I told the girl it was a recheck and this is the date she scheduled me to come back. She said sorry its nothing I can do. So I spent about $160 a exam that didn't work for me and wasn't scheduled to be re seen until after their deadline date I was sad that I wasted money and it wasnt my fault but the staff didn't care at all.

I came here to see the doctor after having a bad eye infection. I had insurance but was still charged for an $80 medical visit. The doctor was extremely impersonal. I had already been to a medstop twice before visiting and explained to him that my infection was getting worse and was concerned of having a cyst left in my eyelid. He assured me if I used the ointment after a week everything would be fine and that having a cyst was not common. Several weeks pass and I was not given a follow up or had anyone check in with me. I had an associate from the walmart on booth road call in for them to contact me about a follow up. They called and were going to charge again for an amount of $80-$100 for a follow up. Really unbelievable. I will no longer do business with them here
