Dr. Chun is everything you could want in a medical practitioner: caring, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, patient -- and throw in that his efficient office manager, Mia, is his wife! Their office is welcoming and attractive in a great downtown location.

Dr Chun and his wife are both awesome. They make you feel at home and don't pressure you into buying like some other places do. They genuinely care and are friendly. They even accommodated having a little child during the exam. They understand how it is because they have kids of their own too. Glasses that are covered under insurance are stylish enough that I didn't have to pick a more expensive one. I really loved my experience here and recommended this place to all my friends. They even validate parking so it was free!

Dr J. Chun is knowledgable and laid back. He gives great service with Aloha. And he always educates you as to your full eye health. Office equipment is up to date and COVID19 respectful. Plus he has a full selection of quality fairly priced frames from everywhere...not just the PRC. You will never know how minimal your past eye exams were until you make the switch to Dr Chun!

Wow, wow, wow! Dr. Chun is the very best Optometrist I've been to in my 30 years of contact and glasses use. Upon entering the office for my appointment, I was greeted with a temperature check and a squirt of hand sanitizer. The entire office is well sanitized and spotless. Dr. Chun is very attentive, professional, thorough, and extends his aloha and care with the highest level of service. My examination was little over an hour. He explained every process in detail and explained his diagnosis in a simple form to clearly understand. But the most important, after seeing 3 other doctors with my same concern. "I don't seem to see things at a distance". None of the other doctors changed my prescription in 10 years. His original diagnosis prior to my prescription recommendation was that I shouldn't be driving. Which I felt for many years but 3 doctors said I was fine. But with Dr. Chun's help, I CAN NOW SEE!!! I'm so happy! Dr. Chun also took the time to readjust my old pair of glasses. I wish all places of businesses gave the level of service and aloha Dr Chun gives! I highly recommend Dr. Johnathan Chun!

I felt very comfortable during my annual eye exam with Dr. Chun. He explained eye health in a way that was informed and easy to understand. He was very personable and I highly recommend this practitioner.

Amazing eye doctor. Very thorough and detailed. Very knowledgeable. He explains things in a way that is easy to understand. He also makes you feel comfortable asking questions. The location is also super convenient. Close to everything. Takes major eye insurance carriers such as VSP. I highly recommend this office if you are looking for a new doctor or new to the area. I have had poor experiences with other eye doctors, but Dr. Chun is the best. Look no further for your next eye doctor.

Dr Chun is a caring, knowledgeable and thorough optometrist. I recently had a vision issue and he went above and beyond to help me including multiple office visit follow up examinations. I wish I could give him 6 stars!
