The absolute best of optometrist office I have ever been to. The decor and ambience is so thoughtful and the small office is there intimate. Dr. Sultzer goes above and beyond for his patients And her state of the art office makes a visit enjoyable. I felt like I was in such good care here and would highly recommend this office to everybody looking for an amazing experience!

Great experience with Dr. Dane. When I say he came in on his day off to help with my daughter, needing glasses after they were lost on an tour on yesterday, and helped her get her first pair of contacts it was truly a blessing.
Who would ever think that while on vacation you would run into this type of situation but to be able to call his office and he immediately responded and provided clarity and an overview of what to expect would be an understatement. He took his time helped to walk her through it and waited patiently for her to learn to put her contacts in. I swear I've love his attention to detail and willingness to assist us in such a pinch. Now the rest of my vacation can continue.

Dr. Dane and team are next level. The eye exam was the most comprehensive I've ever received. I booked an entire hour to do the exam and pick out frames. You never feel rushed. Keep in mind you should book time in advance.
The lenses and frames are extremely high quality. It's the only place like this I'm aware of on Oahu. I will be back in the future.

I've been wearing glasses for just over 10 years now. Like most people, my first experience was at Lens Crafters. I learned my lesson there and found a smaller, more caring eye Dr. but that also ran its course. Then I found Kahala Eye Care... wow! I had no idea that this kind of place existed! One on one, super elevated experience with Dr. Sultzer who explained in detail how and why I should take care of my eyes. They also make custom frames from different materials that are far superior to any other frames I've seen in Hawai'i. If you need to visit an optometrist this is where you should go!

Not only was I able to see him on a timely basis, he conducted an extremely thorough examination that lasted almost one hour. After the issue was discovered he then went on to refer me to additional resources, the quality of which left me comfortable. I would highly recommend.
