Sam's Club Optical Center

I called to confirm that they accept a certain health plan. I spoke to Carmen and she asked for all of this information but was poor at explaining why she needed it. She did eventually say she needed to confirm if it was in network. I explained that they are in network and it's on the insurance's website. And I just wanted to confirm that Sam club vision will accepted it due to a lot of places are on the website but stopped accepting the insurance. I stated I just wanted to know if they will still accepted the insurance. She stated how it was under a certain provider and I stated it wasn't and she stated it was. If she was so knowledgeable how didn't she know if they accepted and who the provider was? I understand the insurance little bit and know it handles its own vision and doesn't have a provider it's in contract with for the vision. I get you want to look up the benefits but is there no way to know if your place of employment accepts a certain insurance if you have the name and type of insurance? I asked for a supervisor/manager and she stated she was the only one there. Maybe I am wrong because I'm use to places just telling me if they accept the plan without having to give a lot of information but please hire ppl who are knowledgeable and who can explain things especially if they are going to be the only one there. I dont think she was telling the truth about that but do better Sam's club
