12/26/25. My wife and I went in for our yearly appointment and, as always, we had a great experience. We've been using the same optometrist for four years and we love her. The entire staff is amazing; we just picked one since we go together. They all take the time to recommend the tests you need depending on your health needs. I'm diabetic, so I'm given a different test than my wife. Afterwards, they explain the results in detail and the concerns they see that we need to correct. They remind you that if your vision begins to fail, not to wait and go in. After the appointment comes picking out your frames This is the part my wife and I like best. Today, Paige was assigned to help both of us, and we hit the jackpot Paige was friendly and very helpful to both of us. We valued her input because she didn't try to sell us a more expensive frame, but the one she felt looked best on us. She even pointed out the differences in the look on our faces. Paige was awesome, and we felt she went above the norm. When we were set, she went over our insurance and explained the benefits in detail. Although we get glasses yearly, we felt this time around was a lot smoother. The other thing Paige did when she didn't know the answer or understand our policy is she didn't hesitate to ask her coworker Mike. Mike was a great resource for Paige, as he explained our insurance policy. This allowed Paige to give us the best price and the most options for a good pair of glasses. We left happy and felt well taken care of. Thanks, Paige and Mike!

The entire team at the Creasy Lafayette location is incredible! We worked with Brittany-Ann while discussing glasses and lenses, and she was fantastic. Her customer service, patience, and expertise were truly appreciated. She answered all of our questions and took the time to make sure we fully understood everything we were getting. Outstanding service--we're happy to return again!

I'm not typically one to review a place, but they are unprofessional here. About a month ago I had gone to pick up some glasses and when they were making adjustments, the worker there broke them. I understand mistakes happen, so I stayed quiet and watched how the situation would be handled. Instead of coming directly to me and letting me know what had happened, she went ahead and went to go look for another frame that was identical but when she couldn't, she went and grabbed one frame as a "temporary" replacement while they ordered the new replacements. After that she told me she would call later that day to update me, never did. After that I have gone back twice, where they continuously told me that they are unsure of what is going on with the frames and again promised to call later in the day after asking around, they never did either time. Now they are telling me the frames are no longer available at all, and that we need to go in and pick new ones with no compensation for the 2 months total that I have been waiting to receive my glasses. Do better.

Placed my order for what I thought were progressive bifocal lenses with transitions and various coatings, I was given a receipt for the total (not itemized). After waiting 3 weeks (as expected), I finally got to pick them up, and received normal bifocal lenses. They said since it was their mistake, they are happy to remake the lenses for an additional $650. I wanted to support a local business, but that brings the total for a single pair of glasses to over $1000 WITH INSURANCE. They said that because of the insurance there was no additional discounts they could offer. I took the glasses because they were already paid for, but this is ridiculous, and the glasses are useless for me. Will not return.

I am 36 and have had glasses since I was 10. When I say Dr. Wu is hands down the best, most caring, empathetic doctor I've ever had, I mean it. I would follow her to other practices if I had to. Heck, I drive a hour just to see her now. She listens to me, answers every single question, and makes me feel safe. She is absolutely wonderful.

Me and my wife were going to this place for several years. Front desk always polite, efficient, ready to help. Dr Megan Meyer, our doctor, extremely polite,nice, professional, takes her time explaining things, does a thorough exam. We strongly recommend this place and Dr . Meyer for eye care. You will not regret it.

This will be my last time using Evans Piggott & Finney's service. After being placed on hold for 30 minutes, I received a call back from the operation manager stating that they couldn't do anything for me after several times of visiting their facility for mistakes they made at their lab (the lenses weren't properly inspected). The manager told me to come in, drop the glasses off, and told me that they would rather give me a refund because they choose not to fix the problem. The problem is a simple measurement correction. She basically told me to return the glasses, and go elsewhere! After wasting my time making trips up there, waiting several times for an optician and even weeks without my glasses... Now, I have to be without glasses because they rather lose a loyal customer over a simple fix. It will take me several weeks to find another eye care facility, and months to receive my refund from my insurance company. In other words, they prefer to screw their customers than helping them. Bad customer service on their part... But if you have a lot of customers, I guess that's okay. Please beware of this business. Most of the actual reviews are hidden.

I had a great experience with Amber! Choosing frames isn't easy for me to pick out. Amber was very professional, patient and kind. I went to other eye glass establishments and Amber by far had the best customer service and knowledge! She knew how to eliminate certain frames and narrow down the best options. I'm very happy I stopped by. Now just waiting until glasses are ready. I highly recommend Amber to help choose the best frames! She knows what she is doing!
