Exam was very quick with no explanation of my vision results. I left with a prescription but still had no idea if my eyes were healthy or not. For the contact lens fitting, I paid the extra fitting fee but didn't get to actually trial lenses because my usual base curve wasn't available. There was no comfort check, no fitting evaluation, and no feedback about whether the lenses were suitable, so again I just left with a prescription, although I paid the full fitting fee. What's worse is that I later received a bill for an additional test I was not told about at the visit, even though I had already paid at checkout. The amount was small, so I paid it. I just felt it was neither reasonable nor professional to secretly add a test without clear disclosure or patient consent.

Dr. Yocum is outstanding! Very personable, and he explains things very well. The women who helped us pick out frames were amazing, as well! Highly recommend!

Dr. Yocum has taken care of my family's eye care needs for over 25 years. He's very knowledgeable and caring. Due to rescheduling, I saw Dr. Kaylor this time. I found her to be knowledgeable and professional as well. Highly recommend this practice!!

Upon entering what looks like a house is a "family eyecare." Apparently the Dr. has a new puppy which they let run around the halls and office. The young lady escorts me in to a room to do some tests. One test is a device that tests how dry your eyes are. They take off the cover and put it on the bottom of your lid. The lady used her fingers touched the device wore no gloves and tried to do the test. With staff chasing a puppy around and it's dander everywhere and being in exam rooms, not wearing gloves when touching instruments that are supposed to touch your lids or eyes. It is a complete udder disregard for sanitation. What does a puppy running around have to do with a professional medical facility and eye care? I left with blood shot eyes. Let's hope I don't get pink eye. Dogs lick there butt's. The staff does not wear gloves and I did not see them wash there hands. Completely unprofessional place. If someone is allergic to pet dander be careful coming here. Also the big puppy runs up and down the hallway in the back. It was not a service animal but the Dr. Pet in a medical facility out of control. Someone should definitely get a hold of the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Ethics Committee.

Great care. Knowledgeable and friendly associates. Up to date facilities and services. Dr. Yocum takes time to understand what you need and does an excellent job of explaining in a way you can understand. He is a good listener as you explain what issues you are having.

Dr. Yocum is very nice. He answers your questions and he let's you know if there is anything wrong with your eyes. The staff is nice too.

Great eye doctor and even better person! He takes care of all five of us, and we all have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Yocum.

Definitely received top notch care. Dr. Yocum spent lots of time with me, explained diagnosis with terms I could understand, and coordinated care with other providers.
