Dr. Mather helped me out many years ago when I had an emergency on Christmas Eve. He was very helpful and came in on a holiday to treat me. However, today when I called to schedule a normal checkup, the person answering the phone could not have been more rude to me. I have never experienced a receptionist so rude. I didn't set an appointment and I won't be back again. Another office that treats customers with respect can have my business.

I unexpectedly had to bring my 1 year old with me to my appointment and they were so accommodating! Dr. Mather and the office staff were so sweet in helping me navigate the appointment with my baby. I was so thankful for them and their help on top of having a great experience with my eye exam.

I recently purchased glasses from Mather, and after a few days, I just could not get used to the fit. I was so worried I would be stuck with these glasses. But, when I went back to Mather, Tammy immediately recognized that the glasses did not fit me properly. She restyled me and ordered me a whole new pair of glasses! I am so grateful for the excellent service! Dr. Mather is always very thorough in his examination and the whole staff is just wonderful!

This was an awful experience. I was not given any information or warning before getting my first shot for AMD. No one spoke to me about the importance of ongoing treatments. No one spoke to me about anything. You've got your shot...just give me your money and goodbye. I now have a wonderful RS who knows how to communicate and support me. This happened several years ago - I can only hope that they have changed and become more patient focused.

My wife and I had appointments at 2 and 2:30 and she wasn't seen until 3 and me even later. The doctor and exam in general was not thorough at all like any other eye doctor I've been to yet it still took until after closing(5) for us to get out of there. The doctor didn't answer any of my questions while breazing through my exam and after being kept there for 3 hours they were ready to go home so the lady that helps you pick your glasses just explained my options very vaguely and didn't seem to give as much information as my wife got while she was picking her glasses. Very unprofessional to have people booked so close that you cannot fulfill your appointment times and then rush them out the door when you keep them past closing. Cannot recommend this place to anyone and will not be going back besides to pick my glasses up. Follow up review. I call and ask to make sure what they told me at my original appointment was correct on which insurance they ran the appointment and glasses through since I have two insurances and they again tell me it was all run through my one insurance. Go to pick my wife's glasses up the same day I called to confirm this and have them check which insurance everything was run through since I was told twice that it was run through my first insurance and turns out after waiting 5 to 10 minutes they tell me it was all run through my second insurance. This place is a joke and misinformed me multiple times which would have cost me money had I not investigated. They do not have my business anymore and I will be warning everyone I know to stay clear of this place.

I only saw Dr. Mather a few times, but I mostly saw Dr. Cutler. Dr. Cutler isn't there anymore, but Dr. Mather is great! The only hump is getting past the front desk without discourtesy, but the place is pretty good and affordable.

My whole family has always been treated well at Mather Eye care. Very easy to do business with.

Great staff and quality glasses. I received a very thorough eye exam and could not ask for friendlier or more helpfull staff.
