Cory Eye Care

My husband and I have been going here for years so when I found out my daughter needed to see an eye doctor and I found out that they took 3 year olds I decided to try it out for her and I'm SO happy I did. I felt like I was at a pediatric eye doctor when she was with them everyone was so good with her. Dr. Cory was so sweet and patient with her, all of the staff was. She was so comfortable with everyone and wasn't scared at any point and I fully believe it's because of how they interacted with her. Would recommend them to anyone but especially if you need to bring in a younger child. I'm so happy with how her appointment went. Dr Cory took extra care and time to explain everything in detail to me and made sure I understood what he was saying. Love them!

Rude, intolerant, abrasive, and has an extremely short fuse. When we (married couple, in our 60's) asked why my husbands good eye... the one without a cataract and near perfect vision ... also HAD to have surgery, Dr. Cory became very upset, gave a bizarre explanation that made no sense at all (he did not know that I was a nurse).When I tried to clarify something, he suddenly didn't like "what was going on here", was uncomfortable with "the vibe" being created, and rolled his chair back and said "NO, I don't like any of this. Leave. Just leave. I'm not doing this (while swinging his arms around). Just go. Get out of here." So, we were literally thrown out for asking a question and expecting an answer that made sense. Actually, we couldn't have been happier to leave. Feel like we dodged a bullet.

I can't say enough great things about the entire staff at Cory Eye Center. Tyler and Becky always go the extra mile for the patients. Dr Cory has been the BEST doctor I have ever had. And I have gone to a lot of doctors in my life. He literally saved my eye sight. I will always owe them my gratitude.

Every time I was there the front desk lady was so rude, but I liked the doctor so I dealt with it. I have also recommended family to go here. I brought my daughter today for her appointment and as soon as she said her name, Rebecca interrupted and said "you were supposed to be here at 1:00." She was not told to be 30 minutes early. Rebecca said I sent you multiple messages...my daughter got a new phone number so she never received the messages. The lady continued to repeat herself and had such a disgusted look on her face tsp I told her that she already said that and no need to be rude to my daughter. She said she would have to ask the doctor if he would still take us and made us wait. We were finally informed that he would not. This was after a 2 month wait for an appointment.

i had an appointment for 1:30 today and i came inside and the blonde lady at the front desk told me i was supposed to be there at 1 and i was late. my mom and i both knew my appointment time and were very confused, and she said she sent a lot of reminders for me to get there and now im late and they can't take me. she kept repeating that i was supposed to be there at 1 and that i was late no matter what we said, so my mom told her there's no need to be rude and she walked away, and didn't let me be seen. they never told me to be there 30 minutes early otherwise i would have

My first time there and I was impressed with the thoroughness of my appointment! The only thing that prevented a 5 star rating was the doctor did not introduce himself and I assumed he was the highly recommended Dr. Cory but he was not. Still a great visit!

I called to set up my appointment for my daughter who is quadriplegic I asked about them being able to accommodate her coming on a stretcher they were not able to do so so I had to try to schedule transportation for her with a wheelchair. I called back, made the appointment for her to come. I got the transportation set up and she was scheduled for April 28th, it took over a month to get all this coordinated. On April 26. Two days before her appointment Someone call me from the office and told me that they could not take her. They don't take Medicaid although she also has Medicare. Getting anything done in the medical field has become a real hassle. Oh and it's not for eyeglasses, she has an infection in her eyes. They treated her in the hospital and said get her to an eye doctor

We drive over and hour and half to our appointments. Called and told the person that answered the phone that we were stuck on the toll road in dead stopped traffic and that we would be 20 minutes late. Was told by the lady on the phone "that's fine, call us back in 20 minutes and tell us where you are". Called back told them we were 20 minutes out "ok thanks a different lady says". Then we get a phone call that "you have to reschedule your appointment, ok bye". I work in patient care, and trust me if I told a patient that drove that far for an appointment after they had called to inform us of their situation that their appointment was canceled and they had to reschedule my days would be numbered. Lost this patient. hopefully no one else will ever have a traffic issues and try to do the right thing.
