Had an amazing experience with everyone there. I want to give a shout out to Toya specifically for making the experience so pleasant. She was amazing and made me feel super comfortable and confident in my selection of frames and helped so much with pricing.
Where do I start,
pleasant on the phone, very informative and when I went into Portage location I received the same treatment very pleasant, welcoming and mainly no pressure.
Under promise and over delivered is what they did for sure.

5 STAR is not enough!
On top of this they fixed my current glasses that I actually sat on and made them usable at no charge. I will recommend for sure.Thank you ladies.
I frequently have appointments due a specific condition, the staff and doctors are wonderful. Today's appointment was disappointing, while again the doctor and most of the staff was great, I received my first prescription for readers.
The lady staff member assisting for the glasses was absolutely awful. She was condensing, plus anything I said she argumentative and talked me like I was an idiot. I was getting so upset, I told her I didn't want to get the glasses today. We moved forward cordially with checking out from the exam, she informed me I had two prescriptions for glasses, I questioned why were there two, I was only aware of one for the readers. Again, she was nasty, she said " What do you expect, of course as we get older we need prescriptions".
I never did not find out what the second prescription was for, only her rude comment. I will continue with appointments for exams
but will not be getting any prescriptions for glasses filled at this facility.
I had purchased glasses back in Feb/March when I got them in not too long after the lenses were cracking on the inside, take them in to be repaired and was told if frame was damaged when redone Id have to pay 50% of cost for new frames...umm no is that not what the insurance is for? Get that squared away....go in a few weeks later to order a second pair, pay almost $800 they order them (or did they) I call over 2 weeks later to find out whats going on with them, where are they. She cant find me in the system by phone number and name eventually finds me by DOB, puts me on hold....only to tell me they aren't there....they thought I had already picked them up....yea no, now here I am waiting ANOTHER 2 weeks for glasses I already paid for! Im sorry, but this isnt the first time Ive had an issue with this place. So were they ordered, or is someone else walking around with my glasses??
Just horrible called I was going to be ten minutes late, this was after they rescheduled my first contact class, due to being short staffed, and waiting three additional weeks to get in. She said I would have to reschedule again. I said I would just pick up my contacts and she said she couldn't give them to me. I said Id be in to get my safety glasses, I explained my car trouble and she said that's not her problem and that's what happens when I make an appointment at the end of the night and she hung up on me. (appointment at 5, arrived at 5:13 and they close at 7, it's a 30 min class. Unfortunately this is not the first bad experience here, should have learned, however the doctors have been great otherwise I wouldn't even give a one star. paid money out of pocket in addition to my insurance and waited now a month and still can't get my contacts. I'm so frustrated.
Very rude customer service on every occasion. They cancelled my appointment the day of and scheduled me a month out. Then cancelled that appointment again wanting to schedule me another month out. All while ive been out of contacts and getting told by the front desk they can't give me any new contacts until my appointment. Honestly deserve a one star for this location
I won't be returning. Felt very rushed to pick a pair of glasses. The doctor was nice and thorough, but I had a poor experience with the consultants.
I had my glasses for about a year and took them back to see if they could fix them.I walked out of there with my glasses being just like new. Everybody was very nice. This is a great place to go and will go back for my next eye exam and new glasses.
