I had a wonderful experience! While the wait was longer than anticipated, each person I dealt with was very apologetic. I did not catch everyone's name, but the person I checked in with was very sweet and helpful with a name change, Terry was hilarious as she did all my eye testing, Dr Vien was great as always. But my personal favorite was Melissa, who helped me choose my new frames and helped me get the best value on my lenses based off what my insurance covers. Not only was she highly knowledgeable, she was so fun to work with! I had a later appointment and I know she was ready to go home but she stayed so I could choose what I really wanted. 10/10 experience. Thank you all!!

I will preface this by saying I am a manager of a medical office, so I go to my personal medical appointments with a different view.
I had my first, new patient appointment at Maine optometry in Brunswick the other day. Excellent customer service at the front window, clean and inviting waiting room. Staff took me promptly at the start of my appointment. Preliminary eye exam was professional and thorough. Professional and through meeting with the optometrist as well. Very pleased with the efficiency and professionalism of this practice. Would highly recommend.

I was nervous when I drove into the parking lot as there wasn't a spot to park. We lucked out as someone was leaving we slid into the spot. When we went in we were instantly greeted with a friendly smile. As I was looking at the wonderful variety of frames I was assisted by Ashley. She was wonderful, she helped me decide which frames look the best on me, which was a tough task as I had 8 pairs in my hand. I asked for her honesty opinion and believe it got it. The lady who cashed me out was fantastic. When I left I felt good about the decision of glasses I got, looked at the time and was surprised I was in and out in an hour. I am very impressed of how organised, helpful and extremely friendly the staff was. I impressed with all of the assistance I received and the outstanding support I got.

Thank you goes to Dr. Lyn Benton. She explains everything clearly, answers questions, and offers tips and suggestions for living comfortable with the all issues the eyes can bring at times. She also smiles a lot and has a lovely sense of humor--always a good 'bedside manner' for a doctor!!!
