I came in for a torn retina, I was a tad late to my appointment bc of issues with my transportation service but the appointment went great. Linda did all of my imaging and she was an absolute joy. Dr Haddad was also amazing, I felt so safe and comfortable in her care. we were able to do a same-day procedure in office where she treated two holes in my retina with laser. totally relaxing and pain-free. no complications so far. I hope I never need to go through this process again but if I do, I know exactly who to call.

My family members have been patients of this practice since it was founded. Drs. For and Kelly have always been kind, professional, and very thorough. The transition from a private group practice to one owned by MaineHeath has its challenges, but they have weathered it gracefully. The move to the new location is fabulous as it is spacious, quiet and well-staffed. I recommend them highly and without reservation.

Dr. Kelly did a great job. He was both very friendly and professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly and concisely. My only critique is that he was 45 minutes late in seeing me. (My appointment was at 1:30 pm, but I had to wait until 2:15pm to see him.)

At first I was a big fan of Dr. Kelley as he performed laser surgery on my eyes to alleviate the bleeding. I am grateful for that. When I switched to another doctor at MIDCOAST she heavily encouraged me to get injections to help with my poor eyesight. LATER she told me these injections make cataract surgery complicated and risky then told me by the way, I have cataracts now. I ceased the injections in fear of future complications. I have kept yearly appointments there but canceled and rescheduled a few times during the pandemic due to frequent cases of illness yet I always rescheduled. MIDCOAST has this kicked me out! They wrote an email saying I cancelled too many appointments and are now removed from their system!

I had the worst "check up" in my life. I recently moved to Maine and have not had an eye check up for well over 3 years, largely due to the pandemic. Given that one has to have a less than two-year old prescription to get new glasses, I figured it was time to get my eyes checked. The appointment started with an assistant who performed the standard intro stuff including getting my current prescription from my glasses. I had my eyes dilated and Dr. Morotto came in to give me my check up. He asked me if I had been having any trouble with my eyes. I said no. He looked in my eyes, said everything is great and that I can go home. I was dumbfounded. What about checking my eyes with your fancy machinery to see if my prescription had changed in the past three years? So I asked him if he was going to give me a new prescription as I may want to get new glasses. He said okay. Does this mean that he gave me a thorough eye exam? No...he simply wrote down my old prescription as my new prescription. At that point I gave up. He bounded out of the room to see another patient who looked to be having more difficulties than I. BTW...my wife had a similarly disappointing exam just before mine. Neither one of us will ever go back to Mid Coast Eye Associates in Brunswick. We will try to find some real professionals down in Portland.

My wife is getting set up for cataract surgery. Her experience of the exam(two hours) was good.

Nour Maya Haddad, i am so glad i have u as a dr. Not only did u save my vision. But because of your expertise have revealed potential life threatening health issues . I Will hopefully get an early jump on whatever we ultimately find.
