New Vision Laser Center

This place is amazing! Never thought I'd ever have normal vision but it's been about 3 months now and everything is great. Dr. Gladsen is very professional and cares about his patients and Lucy is the sweetest and made everything go smoother. The Dr. explains every step and puts in special contacts for comfort (no other doc in the area does that). Also very thankful for Lucy because she really took care of me and I don't think I could've done it without her! The procedure is very short and you start seeing better even on the day of. Everything took about three visits but I almost wish it was more because I just love this place!

Dr. Gladsden and his staff are incredible! I had worn contacts for 30 years and my vision was terrible. It has been 4 months since my surgery and I am still in shock that I can see so well. It is unbelievable. Dr. Gladsden and his staff made me feel so comfortable during the procedure. There was not an ounce of pain at any point during or after the procedure. I cannot thank them enough for changing my life. I wish that I would have had Lasik years ago. I HIGHLY recommend New Vision Laser Center. They are amazing!!

New Vision is an exceptional practice!! Truly! If you are considering laser eye surgery, this is the place to go! Best experience I've ever had with a medical practice - from the initial free consultation, to the pre-surgery follow up, to the surgery, and post-surgery follow up. Dr. Gladsden, Lucy, Vanessa, and all of the other staff make you feel at home and like family! I was so nervous about the procedure, but they provided me with all of the information that I needed every step of the way and answered any questions that I had. They honestly take such amazing care of you! I just had my surgery yesterday, but am already seeing so clearly today - with it just getting better and sharper every hour. I am so incredibly grateful to New Vision and highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

I had my laser eye surgery at this location back in January. I had horrible vision and have worn a strong prescription glasses since I was 8 years old. The staff and the doctor were amazing! So friendly, and they eased my nerves before having the surgery. I am now glasses free and it is life changing!! So thankful, and would do it again in a heartbeat! I highly reccomend them!

The day of my procedure was exactly the same. I felt very prepared, relaxed, and recieved the most excellent care from the physician and his assistant!! The procedure was a piece of cake also! Top notch professional services, caring and comforting staff and at reasonable rates. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr Gladsden was very clear on the process before, during, and after the procedure and he and his staff made you feel very comfortable and informed. He and Lucy are truly passionate about what they do and it shows. I went into the procedure a bit doubtful because I have horrible eyesight and a very bad astigmatism. I decided to get the free consultation knowing that these "free" consultations are most likely a sales ploy but decided I needed to check it out anyway. I never once felt pressured into getting the procedure. Instead, I felt like it was truly just an education on the process and the equipment used and a chance to get to know the doctor and his staff better. I was told that although I had very bad vision and an astigmatism that I would be a very good candidate. I decided to get the procedure done and was scheduled two weeks later. It has now been 24 hours since my procedure and I can see BETTER than 20/20 and haven't had any issues in recovery. I have had an amazing experience with Dr. Gladsden and Lucy who deserve to be placed on a pedestal since that's how they made me feel during this whole process. No more glasses! Woohoo!

I received a Lasik treatment at another office 6 months ago and I wasn't happy with the results. I came into New Vision Laser Center Hagerstown to get a second opinion on whether or not to proceed with a touch up 6 months post op and Dr. Gardner was VERY informative. I wish I had used this office for my original procedure as I feel they may have corrected my vision on the first try. If you're looking for Lasik, I recommend you at least come here for a free consultation. I wish I found you sooner. Thanks New Vision.

If you have anxiety and on the fence regarding having your eyes done, read my review! I have extreme anxiety when it comes to my teeth and eyes; so much so that I went out of network on my dental plan and paid $3,200 for a root canal and crown, just to have laughing gas! I set up a consultation at New Vision Laser Center based off a recommendation of a family friend. I was extremely impressed by the office; it was large and spread out. They don't have a waiting room full of patients that look like cattle being randomly called out for their turn. It's personal there. Vanessa and Lucy joke with you as if you're old friends who have known each other for years. There were quite a few initial tests that took about 90 minutes to complete. At the end of the visit, I decided to go for it. It took about two minutes to run my credit to get approved for Care Credit and I scheduled my appointment two months out. My actual procedure was done yesterday. A few more quick tests and than the eye numbing took place. Dr. Gladsten explained every single step he was going to do, including having to tilt my head.They'll bring you into the room and show you the machine and even the sound it will make before you get started. Your hair will be placed in a net with gauze at your ears to prevent eye drops from dripping. They'll tape your eye lashes back, which was a bit awkward but I soon forgot about it. I think I was more nervous about the clamps than the laser itself. However, Lucy was in there to hold my hand and rub my arm. As silly as it sounds, sometimes that reassuring touch can make your anxiety slow down. The clamps, while awkward. were not as bad as I made them out to be. I kept reassuring myself that it would be over before I knew it. I was in the room for about one hour, but it seemed to go by quick. Dr. Gladsten will tell you when your vision goes dark, which will only last about 10-15 seconds. When the procedure was over, I realized it really wasn't that bad. I was instructed to use drops every five minutes for two hours and than every 15 minutes for the rest of the day. I'm glad I chose to have this done and come to New Vision Laser Center. For those who freak out about stuff like this, calm down. If I can do it, so can you.
