My husband I recently moved to the Hanover area. We were both in need of routine eye exams. Dr. Schultz was thorough and knowledgable and so was the staff that assisted her. We ordered new glasses with Jenna's help. She was the best, very helpful in choosing and options. Never pushy but honest. We do to have vision insurance so she worked with us on getting the best price. We really enjoyed working and laughing with her. My husband and I can be a silly couple and she played along. We highly recommend this office and their amazing staff.
My experience at the Hanover MyEyeDr was great! It was super-easy to get an appointment, they saw me at exactly my appointment time. The staff is so friendly, caring and knowledgeable! I would particularly like to mention my optician, Tamara. She was awesome!! After I saw the dr, she sat patiently with me while I chose frames, making helpful suggestions about the appearance and features of the glasses. She even helped me with placing an order for having new lenses put into 2 pairs of frames for my son. Thank you so Tamara and thank you to all of the fantastic team at Hanover MyEyeDr!
Wonderful experience. Working with Joy has been an absolute pleasure. Very professional and very knowledgeable. She was courtesy from dropping off to picking up my glasses.
0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO A DEAD DOG! I am still waiting for my glasses. It has been one headache after another since I booked my eye exam. Daniel (the store manager) was a breeze to work with and got me scheduled within 2 weeks. No problem. However, when it came time to confirm my appointment, it felt like I was playing phone tag with Yah-ma-let (not certain how to spell her name but that's the annunciation). I would call and she would place me on hold and forget I was on hold. After so long, I'll hang up and because I DoorDash to make a living, I need my phone for orders so I'm not always readily accessible to talk while driving or trying to use GPS. She might call back and the setting on my phone will silence a call while I'm driving to avoid distractions. Well, I finally was able to call and speak to her without being placed on hold and forgotten about but she was too busy and couldn't even navigate between my call and another customer. She kept placing me on hold and coming back to the line trying to talk to me about another customers issue. And I kept telling her, I think you're talking to the wrong person. She would just put the call on hold abruptly without saying anything and do it again. After like 3-4 times of her trying to go back and forth, I finally had to YELL at her to let her know, I'm just trying to confirm my appointment. She realized then I was the wrong person and took my information to confirm my appointment but no apology or anything for her behavior. STRIKE 1! Made it to my appointment and even after I corrected her on how to pronounce my name, she still mispronounced it and it's only 5 letters, 2 syllables, not hard to pronounce at all. She act like she couldn't hear me when I said no to text messages. Having to stand there and repeat myself was frustrating! Everything else from the exam to picking out my glasses went smooth. Strike 2 didn't come in until I had to call after 2 weeks exactly to check on the status. Yahmalet claim she didn't understand the notes on my account and said someone would call me back. Never got a call back that day. Had to call again the next day and she's like, "oh the rep you worked with isn't here today but I'll have her call you tomorrow when she's back in." Never got a call from Tamara (tam-ra) at all! I had to call again for the third time and was placed on hold for about 5 mins before Tamra answered and told me she wasn't certain the delay but would look into it. Said because of the snow, it could just be delayed getting to the store. Well now we are on week 3 and I called back for an update. Tamra said she would call the lab and call me back by end of business day. Never got that call back so I called again before they closed for the day and Tamra act like she had an attitude and had the nerve to say she did call the lab but needed to place me on hold to get more information.Tamara Came back to the line and said because I have Medicaid and they no longer accept Medicaid, there was a error in the system. Mind you, I confirmed with Daniel (the manager) when booking my appointment, they did indeed accept Medicaid with no issue! Now I'm being told they don't and that's the hold up, on top of the lab not having my frames so they had to send them a backup pair. Well today, I get a voicemail stating not only did they never receive my frames from last week but they are being mailed this week and the lab should get them soon but it'll be another 10 business days roughly before my glasses arrive tot the store. Not only will that be an entire month and some change later but it's a huge inconvenience! This is UNACCEPTABLE! And every time I call, they act like I'm inconveniencing them and they sound like they have an attitude when this is their job and responsibility.
The whole staff was really friendly and helpful, but Shelia was truly exceptional. She went above and beyond--so kind, patient, and attentive. She helped me find a pair of glasses that I absolutely love and made the entire experience feel easy and enjoyable. Shelia's warmth and professionalism stood out, and honestly, she deserves a raise!
Tamara was incredibly knowledgeable about frames, styles, and what works best for different situations. She answered all my questions with confidence and professionalism, and never hesitated to help.
Honestly, this was the best experience I've had shopping for new frames and lens add-ons. Highly recommend!
Not very polite front desk.
Unfriendly.
Doctor was polite and greeted me. She explained everything and l was happy. Unfortunately, l had to pay $ 44.00 for some kind of retina nerves exam, which l was not expecting and also $64.00 for Transitional coating.
The good thing is that with some adjustments, my total was reduced by about $160.00.
Thank you MyeyeDr.
Wonderful Personnel from Doctor to support staff. I have been going to the location in Hanover. Fast and efficient. Friendly and professional. Highly recommend
