Had an amazing first experience at Visionworks!
This was my very first time getting glasses, and I honestly couldn't have asked for better service. All three staff members were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such positive energy and great customer service.
While I was waiting to be called back for my exam, they consistently checked on me to make sure I was comfortable and didn't need anything -- that meant a lot. The entire process felt smooth, organized, and stress-free.
Thank you to the whole team for making my first glasses experience such a great one. I truly appreciate the excellent service!
This was my annual eye examination and my first time using Visionworks for my eye care. This location was very attentive to my needs and exceptionally kind. Their equipment was superb. Although I did not properly confirm my 11:30 a.m. appointment, they still allowed my appointment to take place, which I truly appreciated.
Kudos to this location! I give the doctor and all three associates (two females and one male) an outstanding mark for customer service, personal interaction, and providing clear and accurate information. I was all over the place asking questions, and they all assisted me gracefully.
They made my Saturday morning an enjoyable experience. I will definitely be returning next year and have already referred Visionworks at Arundel Mills to my coworkers.
If there is 0 star, I would've put 0 star. The worst experience ever in retail store ever. Made 3 appointment for my family. Went there and checked in mobile with QR code. The gentleman came to check me in with asking questions, told him I should have 3 appointments. I answered them all and specified the exam will be in both eye glasses and contact lenses. I met with doctor, which she was great at the time, and we even talked about my current contact lenses. The problem starts after. Nobody checked in with my family after I finished with my exam. We've been sitting for 20min just wondering for associates to come over for our next appointments. My wife and I approached same gentleman to see when we would be going in for the exam. He said it was past appointment time so technically it is canceled. Also, the doctor is about to leave so basically I would have to make another appointments. This is ridiculous. And I asked for eye glasses and contact exam, but they only gave me eye glasses prescription. The associates in the store need to have serious training with accompanying the customers. We are not asking for any fancy hospitality, but only asking for something that meet standard expectation. I expected all of my family gett8ng done with annual eye exam, not wasting out time in the store. This is the worst retail store.
I had a great experience at this Visionworks locarion on the morning of 2/3/26! Other locations have treated me less well, but the staff here were very kind and attentive. On top of my normal exam I asked for a PD measurement, as well as to compare costs when purchasing my contacts. Every request was accommodated with care. I saw a mix up occur where one of the patients came hours too early for their appointment time and one of the staff said she would try to see if she could be squeezed in. I have never seen that kind of customer service at any other location. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the names of the two staff members who helped me but I hope they know I really appreciated them.
Marcus was amazing! He took great care adjusting my son's glasses and never made us feel rushed, even while helping other customers. He was patient, professional, and genuinely kind throughout the visit. Really appreciated his help yesterday -- excellent service all around! Thank you again!
I would recommend finding a standalone or better eye Doctor Because these people will scam you. If they get your prescription right on the first try lucky you but if you have to exchange two boxes of contacts with a different prescription they will scam you and ghost you. This whole ordeal started in early August when I tried exchanging two boxes of contacts and they promise all the time two weeks or less. Great, I get a text saying that my contacts are ready but it's only one box? So now I have to wait a bit more And more until I keep hassling them with calls with them promising that they'll arrive or notify me that my other box has arrived. It is now the end of December and I still don't have my box of contacts for one eye. They said they have in their system that both boxes of contacts arrived but what a joke. There's security cameras in the building And I have recordings of phone calls. At this point I'm done pestering them and asking where my contacts are and just taking the loss of money. This place is not well organized but hey, at least they have a good customer service voice. Lateisha, Where are my contacts?
Checking in for the appointment was quick and there was no wait. The staff are all pleasant and professional. The eye doctor makes the appointment seamless and comfortable. I drive 30 minutes just for the staff. I drive by several offices to this location for the professionalism. Great job.
My in/out time was great. I was greeted by the customer service rep, Terrance, who I had spoken to the day before on the phone, was an absolute pleasure. I was checked in and was sent to the back for my first set of exams. The young lady who did the first set exam (I apologize I can't remember her name) was very pleasant and explained each one. I was then called back for the final eye exam by Dr. Stenett and she was patient with anwering my guestions and a pleasure to talk to. My overall experience was one of the best by far.
