I have been going to Langley Park Optical since I was 12 years old and now I am 55 years old. A matter of fact I got my first pair of glasses there. When I go to my insurance eye doctor my eyeglass are always the correct prescription. I have continued to patronage the business because of the exceptional service. I absolutely love the front desk person and the doctor. Over 40 years they have given the best service and affordable prices. Thank you.

From start to finish, everything was seamless and professional. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making me feel comfortable right away. The doctor was absolutely amazing--truly a pro! They were thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I felt confident in their expertise and care. The entire process was efficient, yet they never rushed me, which I really appreciated. Overall, Langley Park Optical exceeded my expectations. I like this place, the doctor its nice, and they have great prices.

First, I would like to start by saying that I LOVE the doctor. He was a very sweet man. However, the man that was handling our transaction made our whole visit extremely uncomfortable. He talked to us about the other "bad reviews" and tried to justify them by saying people just like to complain. He made comments on politics that were completely unwarranted and tried to push that conversation onto us. Assumed my wife would be offended by his "views" because of what he "believed" her status was. He also assumed my ethnicity on top of this. It's a shame because I actually really liked the doctor. But due to the man in the front, I will not be returning. As a business that is trying to survive in hard times, politics should NEVER be brought into conversation with customers. Let alone FIRST TIME customers.

This place is AWWWSOME , THEY HAVE REALLY GOOD PRICES , the cheapest eyeglasses are like 200$ but for your vision it's a steal, thats what you'd would spend on a pair of jordans, Dr.Howard M Davies made me realize he's very intelligent and knowledgeable about optometry, i respect him alot he's up there in age but dangg those grey hairs are from experience and knowledge, i admire him and respect him alot , definitely going to recommend anyone to him , he's a great smart guy. Nothing but respect and admiration for the old man dude made sure i got the right prescription for my glasses, nothing but the best i wish for him just be gentle with him and he'll treat you with respect and care. As soon as i left with my glasses i seen the world crystal clear

I am so excited to have found this gem. The older gentlemen there seem to be the type of people that will not put up with nonsense. That being said, I tried to respect their ways of operating. I don't even think they have a website. They don't take appointments, so you just walk in for your eye exam. I didn't have to wait long and a wonderful gentleman quietly gave me the most focused and efficient exam. He quietly explained everything carefully. You can't just walk up to the glasses. They will tell you where to sit and bring the frames to you. They were very interested in accuracy, saving me money and allowing me to try on as many frames as needed. I will never go anywhere else. Same day appointments, contacts in stock. My daughters and I have been going to Dr. Davies for over a decade now. Although he's not the most energetic doctor, he is competent, always available, affordable, and the location is convenient. You get used to his demeanor after a while and he's actually become a little more pleasant through the years. Dr. Davies is not there to make friends with you, he's there to examine your eyes.

I've been going here since "birth" it feels like and I've never been disappointed. Dr. Davies, is laser focused on your optical needs. He's not interested in anything else but, your accurate eye assessment. That's all that should matter. I made the mistake, once, of going elsewhere. The doctor, that administered my examine, was too talkative and went off on endless tangents, which resulted in an inaccurate eye examination!
