Valentine Eye Care

Friendly, helpful, and professional staff. I had already received a breakdown of the price for my new glasses: $633.60 included progressive, transition, high index lenses and plastic frames. I went to check another pair of frames & was told optometrist was out for emergency & would be back on Monday. So I decided to check out Leominster Family Eyecare. First optometrist made same mistake as Valentine which was to apply the insurance allowance first, and then the 20% discount according to VSP. Second optometrist caught the mistake and changed the price breakdown by applying 20% discount and then applying allowance which saved me $30 or $40. LFE priced same features as Valentine, but I chose metal frames instead of plastic for a total of $414. $219 less than Valentine, plus frames are metal. I'm a senior on Medicare so I was very pleased w/LFE's price!

I rarely write reviews but I feel I have to be open about this. This was the worst vision care I've received in my life, bar none. That's not hyperbole. Almost every step of the way was terrible, the vision test and the optometrist I saw herself being the only decent parts of my experience here. From the fact that I was constantly being pushed to pay for upcharged services, to the way I was talked about behind my back from the receptionists as I picked out my glasses, to said glasses arriving not only way too small for my face, but also to be so cheap that one of the lenses popped out only a few months later. Do not come here for your eye care. Go anywhere else, just not here.

First time coming here and love it. The staff are respectful and as well as the Doctors. I went to get an eye exam and went smoothly. I then used my old frames for lenses and they were nice enough to replace my old ones with new ones. Highly recommend coming to Valentine's :)

Be careful! Demand to have this company DETAIL IN WRITING what the codes exactly mean on the bill!!! They are hiding something and I didn't get the itemized list of all the items I ordered - I swear they switched lens material from what I ordered, and didn't apply all the extra options I paid for! I paid $1,000 for a pair of glasses that massively scratched within 4 months of wear! I moved to Florida shortly after getting my glasses and so there's nothing I could do about it - it's a MAJOR loss for me! Extremely nice people, but be very careful because the people up front may have no idea about the business practice!

Highly recommend Valentine Eye Care. Great staff, they all were pleasant and informative. Cannot say enough great things about Dr. Iyore. He helped treat my dry eye problem using light therapy treatment. Was the best decision I ever made. My eyes feel 100% better.

I highly recommend Dr. Iyore at Valentine Eye Care center. He thoroughly explained how dry eyes actually work and how eye drops that I have been using for several years is ineffective. With the new light therapy I have had 3 treatments and feel 90% better with just a little break through tearing but nothing compared to how it used to be prior to the treatments. Thank you so much for teaching me about my dry eye problem and this effective treatment. His staff is always helpful and friendly. Kudos to them all!

Went for regular appointments and had a great experience. I have been treated for dry eyes and the treatments are working better than expected. I like how all treatments are easily explained and the success rate. I definitely would recommend Dr. Iyore for your eye care needs.

I've been using Valentine Eye Care for about 5 years. First, the front desk woman is always friendly, kind, and attentive. On the phone while scheduling and at check in and check out in the office. Dr. Valentine is very skilled - I'd call him an expert in his field. He catches things other eye doctors don't, and is always thorough, nothing is ever rushed. He communicates well, explains everything and answers questions, and even goes over insurance coverage. He's brilliant, and a delight to chat with. Would definitely recommend his office!
