I went here to help a friend pick out glasses for the first time. The place was clean and organized, and we were the only ones in there for a while. The optician spent over an hour with us answering questions about progressives vs bifocals, helping to pick out frames (assessing color and shape, but also stepping back as needed to let my friend decide what she preferred), and sitting down to give her transparent information about pricing. In my 25 years of wearing glasses, this was the best optical customer service I'd ever witnessed. In an increasingly corporate industry, Thoren sets the standard for personalized care at a small business.

Sketchy place to buy glasses I asked for the sizing of my pupils distance and wouldn't give me any info or copys of my prescription when I asked for a copy they even flipped the paper over so I couldn't read it and told me they don't have to give any info even when you're paying them. Who do you think pays for the insurance for one. And two I asked what is the distance pupil to pupil and couldn't tell me I don't care what the frame sizing was. And it's not person writing back to this comment isn't the person who gave me the glasses it's the rude doctor who's never there.
