America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Scheduled and appointment to be seen by a doctor, for them to call and tell me they only have remote options available and pushed my appointment back 20 minutes. Then we waited for an hour to be seen by the doctor with no communication. Frames have been picked out for 45 minutes. Americas best just continues to go downhill.

What's the point of having an appointment if they will not honor it. Slow practice doctor is a jerk and not helpful will be going elsewhere. Worst experience at a americas best office ever

Roxanne was phenomenal! Made my first pair of glasses ever SO easy. Gave me PLENTY of options to try on, answered all my questions, worked around my budget, and helped me tons with finding the perfect glasses for me! Walked out with two pairs after we got all done. Thank you so much!! Great place and highly recommend. Quick, friendly, and easy.

I am seeking a refund for my services related to the America's Best Eyecare/Eyewear location at 215 N Maple Road Suite B1 Ann Arbor, MI. The ophthalmologist arrived late and spent less than 5 minutes with me during the actual appointment. Additionally, when I asked the staff to adjust and tighten my glasses, the staff member shattered my interior glasses lens because they exposed the glasses to heat. Right after she handed me my glasses, she immediately left the building. After I realized that all the glare was actually shattered interior glass vs. fingerprints, I told the remaining staff that I could not see out of my glasses. I had to wait until the staff member returned to the building. They then put in an order for my glasses to be shipped to the lab in Minnesota to get repaired and said my glasses would be returned in two weeks! I explained that I did not have a backup pair of glasses nor any contact lenses (why I initially made the eye appointment). They eventually gave me a pair of contacts. I asked for an additional backup pair because god forbid something happens to these and then I really have no vision options. They said this was their last pair of contact lenses in my prescription and that if something happened to them to tell someone to come to the store to pick me up another pair. It was not in my financial or time budget to get new glasses nor not have glasses for two weeks. This is incredibly inconvenient and NOT a resolution for a problem your staff caused. I paid $150 out of pocket for this appointment, which I would barely consider a thorough eye appointment and now, I do not have my glasses for two weeks and I am praying nothing happens to the contact lens pair that was provided. I hope you can understand my significant frustration. Please reply promptly with next steps in pursuing a refund.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Eye appointment was very quick, I did not catch the persons name that initially did my check up but she was great, Dr. Mystery was very courteous and professional, and Steph (hope I caught the name right!) was very informative and helpful in selecting frames. Overall was very happy with everything, and no one made fun of my horrible vision!
