Amazing staff!! The staff had so much patience with my child Jayce compared to SVS vision. They were professional, caring and patient. My child and I left satisfied and he got amazing new glasses. I highly recommend them to anyone, children and adult.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bruder's for many years, and she continues to impress with her professionalism, punctuality, and personable nature. My eyesight is... well, let's just say challenging, but she's always optimistic and determined to find the best contacts for me. She stays on top of the latest advancements in lenses and technology, ensuring I always have the best possible fit. Then there's Sevan--one of the newer faces in the office but already an invaluable part of the team. His expertise in the field makes picking out frames less of a chore and more of an experience. Recently, my 4-year-old son needed glasses (cue the decision-making struggles), and Sevan handled it like a pro. He asked all the right questions, made the process fun and exciting, and somehow made my little one feel like he had full control--no small feat for a four-year-old! Beyond these standouts, the entire staff at Ann Arbor Optometry is warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It's the kind of place where you're not just a name on a chart; they take the time to ensure you walk away satisfied. And if you don't see exactly what you're looking for, just ask--they'll go the extra mile to find what you need. I can't recommend this place enough. Best experience that I've had at an optometrist. I find optometry visits challenging and have delayed going for several years. I really appreciate the time and consideration provided by Dr. Curcione. She explained everything clearly and made sure I understood. She also helped me find glasses and contacts that would fit with my lifestyle and sensory sensitivities. The staff were excellent as well at every point of the process. I didn't think the visit would be covered by health insurance, and they checked anyhow and informed me that it would be. The staff who helped me pick out glasses was very helpful. This is the first time I'm looking forward to wearing a pair of glasses (which is saying a lot as someone who's vehemently hated glasses). I'm so glad I found them!

While the doctor was decent, the customer service was horrible. They gave me a choice of only a few frames... None of which fit my face properly. They would not allow me to use old frames, would not let me pay up front to get my prescription quicker, and made me wait 2 months for my glasses. I tried to get my prescription to take it elsewhere and they made difficult. I went in to talk with them and the optician i spoke with had no idea what he was doing... He took notes about my requests and promised to get back with me. The glasses I ended up with are so bulky that I am going to have a sore face from wearing them. Additionally, the vision therapist blamed a previous eye doctor I had seen for causing my problems with my vision... Quite unprofessional.

Out of all of the eye doctors I've been to, Dr. Curcione is the only doctor to have figured out why I was having the problems I had. Not only is she a fantastic doctor, but she is kind and understanding. Every experience I have had with the staff has been positive. I highly recommend this practice.

Years ago I had a quality refraction here. However, since it has been a while since that exam, they insist on a comprehensive exam $$$ when I already had one recently through my U of Michigan insurance. The practice won't update my prescription without another expensive comprehensive exam. From past experience, you should obtain clarification of how much of insurance pays ahead of the appt.

I was visiting from out of state and had an eye injury. Ann Arbor Optometry fit me in within four hours of my phone call and provided excellent care and follow up over the course of a week. Even though I'm not a regular patient, they took time to answer my questions and provide education surrounding long term care to help avoid or limit future re-injury. I'm so grateful for their help!

Very well run place. Everyone was so friendly and professional. They have all the right equipment to make it a pain free visit. Competitive pricing on contacts. Would recommend for sure!
