We have been going to See in Ann Arbor for many, many, many years and it's always been such a great experience for me and my family! April and the staff there are so AWESOME, and twice a year we make an appointment for myself and for my husband Tom in getting new eye glass frames with April. There are so many eye glass frames to select on the shelves there and if not , April will find the particular one you are looking for. By us seeing April twice a year in getting new glasses, April knows just what we like in the styles, color and shape.April measures the eye glass frames carefully and when they are ready for us to pickup they fit perfectly! We have sent many of our friends, and family members to April to get new frames or just to get their eyes examined. Everyone loves the many frames that they can select, and they love having April there or even other staff members to help them find the perfect frame! When it's time to leave See, my husband and I end up buying two or three frames for each of us and even the customers we send them will buy more than one frame! When you walk in to the store April will greet you and will help right away with a box of frames she thinks you will like or will help you find the frame that fits perfectly for you. I give See in Ann Arbor, Michigan an A+ grade. Once you start wearing your new eye glasses people will stop and ask where did you get those COOL EYEGLASSES and you will say.. SEE IN ANN ARBOR! Ask for APRIL and if she is not there any staff member can help.

This is my third optometry visit at SEE, and I can't say enough about what an outstanding exam Dr. Kang provides. Every time, I am incredibly impressed with his attention to detail and the time he takes to ensure that I have the best possible prescription. It is clear that he is a perfectionist and wants to provide the best possible customer experience, both in the exam and later with your glasses and contacts. I have had glasses since age 10, and he definitely is the top Optometrist I have seen in 40 years.

This place is truly the best. I love the eye doctor - he's great. He helps me get the best prescription but also explains anything I need. April is the best though - she makes sure that I get the best deal - best rebates and feel perks. She's truly the kindest person to work with. I love her! I come back for her sweet nature and informed guidance. Big fan of this place - been coming for 10 years. Will for another 10. I even got free sunglasses from the rebate!

The optometrist was great but when I purchased my glasses I got two pairs (a backup pair and sunglasses) and told them I'd also like to put my new prescription in my old frames. They spent the whole time trying to talk me out of my frames and into frames I mentioned I did not think I looked good in. This was in November. They never called to inform me when my glasses were ready to pick up my first two and give them my original frames. I had to call them and ask weeks later as I had gotten concerned. I was finally given a call back in December. I then dropped off my old pair to have the lenses replaced. I signed the waiver stating there may be minor damage to my frames as it was not one of their styles. I was told it would take a few weeks and they would call me. I called twice about my glasses and they never picked up or called back. I went in store today (Mid February) and surprisingly they had my previous frames. When I got home I noticed inch long gashes down the sides of the frame where the "gold" had been completely scraped off. While I understand some minor damage, this entirely ruins the frames & they should have refused to replace my lenses for me if they could not do so without this level of damage. I am utterly heartbroken right now. The service from their sales people was abysmal and my glasses were ruined

I had such a great experience here at SEE in AA, I was referred by a coworker and I was able to get a pair of glasses I love very much. Their service was exceptional. They were also very helpful and personable. James was able to help me find the perfect pair and had great communication and follow up! Definitely highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for new glasses.

The entire staff, James, April, Deb and Dr Kang, have made each and every visit a joy. Most recently they resolved prescription issues to my complete satisfaction. I always find another frame to add to my collection-I love the new materials and looks!

The team at SEE on State St. has taken great care of my eyes each time that I have been. Dr. Kang is very knowledgeable, and he takes the time to explain answers to every question I have. If you need help selecting frames, don't hesitate to ask James for help, he has awesome glasses of his own! Thanks once again!

I work in service - been a colorist/hairstylist for 13yrs, so I realize how powerful it is to have a healthy yet balanced customer service approach. And let me just say that the team at the Ann Arbor "See" location knows how to work with people VERY WELL! I had the privilege of working with April, the manager (who has great hair). I walked in looking buy new glasses, but struggled to make decisions with frames. April took her time, offered great options, and gave me HONEST feedback about the way frames looked and what it would mean for my [very thick] lenses (again, super important to me since I spend my days gently pushing clients away from hair color tones that they may desire ... but really aren't complimentary). She also broke down the costs for me so I could make a smart and informed choice - and she made me aware of all specials, rewards and referrals programs, and new contact lens program. While I happily worked with April, the other See team members were also very kind, helpful, and said hello to everyone who walked in the door. Other glasses-shoppers seemed to be very pleased! Overall, it was such a pleasant and easy experience. I will certainly be back for more frames in the future.
