America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I had a great experience at America's Best. I didn't use their eye doctor since I brought my own prescription -- I stopped in specifically because they carry Pair, a brand I've been wanting to try. From start to finish, everyone treated me well. They were friendly, helpful, and patient. I was especially impressed with the manager, Kerstin. She helped me dial in my progressive lenses, which is never easy. I'm super fussy, but Kerstin worked with me, made the necessary adjustments, and stuck with it. She got them just right, and I'm genuinely thankful for her attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Absolutely, some of the best service I have ever had...walked in and talked to a very hospitable receptionist, got right in to see the doctor, who is a great guy as well, then I worked with a couple of trainees and their Manager, who were focused on doing everything correctly. Long story short, this is the kind of service I give in my business's and it's nice to see a group of employees that really care about what they are doing. Plus, the glasses look great, and the prescription is dead on. Great job - Knapps Corner America's Best !!

The customer service was top-notch, Travis went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me! From the moment I contacted them, they were responsive and accommodating! The staff were friendly and welcoming! Thank you so much Travis. I really really appreciate you!

Edit: Americas best contacts responded to my statements with grace and professionalism. I am proud of them for doing the right thing. Even the best make mistakes from time to time. My previous comment is below, but that shouldnt stop you from working with this great location. AMERICAS BEST? MORE LIKE AMERICAS WORST ! I just called to check if my glasses had come in yet. The person that picked up the phone was barely audible when she greeted me. I asked if my glasses where ready, she took my info and then put me on hold for 5+ minutes. Once she got back to me, she picked up the phone and said some more inaudible words and then I replied by saying "hello" this all happened within like 3 seconds. Next thing I know the phone is being audibly slammed into its place. Confused, and startled I called back immediately and asked why did you hang up? The lady raised her voice and said "I didnt hang up! I put you on hold!" (She then repeated this line aggressively after I said "no you didnt"[because obviously the phone would not have hung up immediately if she put me on hold after the first time she put me on hold.] when I explained that I could hear the phone slam into place she further denied it and ignored me and just said "your glasses are not here yet". If she had simply said, "oh I couldnt hear you" or "oh sorry for slamming the phone down after I made you wait 5 minutes with zero explanation." Would have been much better! Then I asked to speak to the manager. I told the manager look, "Im going to assume that it was an accident, but your employee hung up on me." Instead of being curteous and professional, the manager proceeded to tell me, "because I heard her say that she didnt hang up on you, then she could not have hung up on you." "We have phones that drop connection sometimes because they are wifi phones." Explain the logic in that? Anyways, the managers voice was audibly shaking which was confusing to me because I was trying to let them off the hook by explaining to the manager that "a simple apology for hanging up the phone would have been fine and I dont appreciate being treated this way". I also said, "then you guys need to fix the problem with the wifi phones shutting down/hanging up, otherwise yall will lose customers." She then deflected and started yelling at me saying "you dont need to talk to us this way, your glasses are all the way at another store in Texas and need to be shipped here! We will let you know when they get here! Bye!" I said "ok! Bye!" And then the MANAGER hung up on me! What a joke, its not that serious if you make a mistake or if the silly wifi phone makes a mistake. Yall acting like its the end of the world because Im asking a simple question.

My experience was unsatisfactory. My one o'clock appointment was cancelled. Due to traffic I was 6 minutes late. I was told to reschedule because the doctor had gone to lunch and was busy the rest of the day. Explaining I had travelled a distance, she responded: Sorry, he's out. I expressed my disappointment and displeasure and said I would "just have to go someplace else ". "Okay", she responded. SIX MINUTES late? Your associate was unhelpful and, seemingly uncaring. I won't go back

Don't believe the time frame they provide for contacts to be in. I had an appointment on 2/11/26 and was told they would be in on or before 2/19/26. On 2/19 I was told sorry they won't be here until 3/5. I called today to check on them only to be told they aren't there and the can sometimes take a month. If I had been told that at the time of my appointment I wouldn't have bothered getting them here.

Shout out to Tammy and her assistant. Ran into traffic coming from Greenville and walked in 5 minutes before closing. Both were very polite, professional and understanding. Though the store was closed... They listened to the fact I have a difficult time getting into the store because of caring for a handicapped spouse. I was given enough time to select a new pair and even given advice on which pair as I was having difficulty picking between 2 pair. Thanks ladies much appreciated.

Kari helped us with our prescriptions and was very helpful and nice. Bren was very helpful as soon as we walked in and there was no sales pressure. She even told us that there was no obligation to purchase eye glasses from them. I didn't catch the doctor or the assistants name but they both made you feel very comfortable. They also had such great deals it was cheaper than using my insurance.
