I've been a loyal customer at VisionWorks but switched to SVS at the Beltline & could not be happier with my decision. It looks like this place is changing for the worst. None of the original staff seem to work here anymore. I understand that things happen - people are new, equipment falters, tech challenges...etc. PLEASE be transparent. You'll find that people are more apt to give you and your facility a chance amid changes in staff. If the manager would've been transparent about the issue I would've likely returned + I wouldn't be writing this review. I've never had a customer service person lie so much in a short amount of time. From the get go there was ZERO accountability - saying I was personally called that my appt was canceled, to then backtracking that no appointments could be made, to saying the reason they actually can't see me is because of equipment failure & needing to wait months for this to be resolved. All this to backtrack and say she can offer a next day appointment....At this point I didn't trust anything what was being said so I asked if they actually had an optometrist on site. To which she finally walked over after rambling to herself at the screen that the appointment tomorrow would be done by Artificial Intelligence/AI with a telehealth doc. This wouldn't have been disclosed had I not explicitly asked. Definitely will not be coming back.

I am incredibly disappointed with the service. I made an appointment to have my eyes examined several weeks ago, which was easy to do through the website. Since then, I have been called the day before my appointments multiple times and told that there was no doctor available on the day I had scheduled. I rescheduled, only to have the same thing happen again--they called the day before to say there was no doctor. I then made another appointment for December 31 to ensure I could use my benefits, and once again I received a call informing me that their equipment was not working and that I would need to reschedule. They suggested that I get an eye exam with another doctor and then come back to them for glasses. That will not be happening. I recommend going to another eye care provider. You will likely receive far better service than I did.

Visited with a new eyeglass prescription from Kellogg Eye Center for my six year old daughter. She browsed and browsed, fell in love with about seven pairs of glasses, and then eventually picked one. Their selection is amazing and the person who assisted us was very helpful. I think the system they work on is difficult as it seemed to erase info and glitch often on him. The glasses were ready about 4 days before the expected date (10 days after ordering). They appear to be everything we wanted and are working great! We have VSP insurance, which seems to partner or affiliate with them, so I'll be coming back for my eye check up soon.

Appointment scheduled for over a month and call the day of, 45 minutes prior to cancel saying their equipment was down. This is not the first time for this. Always chaos in there, never staffed properly. I do not recommend this location if you want to get your exam done and pick some eyewear. Now had to find another place and wait another week. Absolutely the worst!

Appointment scheduled months in advance. Showed up for appointment after confirming several days prior via text, and was told they had no record of the appointment and all appointments had been cancelled for that day and I should have gotten a call. I never received a call. Employee at the store seemed like he couldn't care less. Employee stated store does not have access to online appointment scheduling and that it was "all AI" Seriously!!! It sounded like he was just making up an excuse. Absolutely ridiculous. Never wasting my time with this place again.

Ask if they're in network! If you wear progressive bifocals, go somewhere else. Remade my lenses several times and I couldn't see across the street. Ended up getting my co-pay back, but lost my benefits. Beware.

This is the first time at Visionworks and I was impressed. They have a lot of different glasses to choose from and Dusty helped me with everything that I asked about. The whole staff was friendly and helpful.

Sorry to say we received poor service at this location. We scheduled an appointment for a contact lens eye exam for my son online -- catching one of the last slots late on an afternoon (needed as my son was leaving town the next day). We received an email noting the appointment (which we took to be a confirmation), drove over, and arrived to find no appointment. No optometrist available, and that, seemingly was that. The message seemed to be that we should have known no such appointment was possible. No particular apology either. I am sure there are many competent employees and nice frames here, but be aware that this sort of experience might happen, too.
