Walmart Vision & Glasses

Brianna was so nice and helpful when I was purchasing my 2 pairs of glasses. She took time to help me pick out my frames. When I picked up my glasses, she made sure that they fit me perfectly. I appreciate the wonderful service I received. I love my new glasses.

The first pair of lenses I had made came back incorrect. I went back to my eye doctor (which cost me more money)! They checked the lenses and confirmed that there were errors. So, I brought them back to Walmart Vision & Glasses, told them the problem, and asked them to fix them. When the second pair came back, I also could not see with them. Again, I asked them to fix them. They were adamant that they were correct and told me I'd have to go back to my eye doctor again. When I told them I was certain that they were made incorrect again, they told me that they would no longer attempt to fix them for me. The two employees that I dealt with were incredibly rude. And I mean INCREDIBLY. I would describe my experience as traumatic. Obviously, I will never go back.

Latessha took the time to get my spouse set up with glasses even though she was about to close in 15 mins! She was patient. Informative and very friendly. Thank you!!

Disappointing Experience with Mellisa at Walmart Vision Center I recently had an unfortunate experience with Mellisa, the manager at Walmart Vision Center, when she was ordering glasses for my grandmother. While I understand that mistakes can happen, Mellisa's attitude and the delay in delivering the glasses left a sour taste in our mouths. When we approached Mellisa to order the glasses, she seemed disinterested and had a dismissive attitude towards us. We explained to her that my grandmother was leaving the country soon and needed her glasses urgently. Despite this, Mellisa assured us that the glasses would be delivered within 3-5 days. Unfortunately, the glasses took much longer to arrive than Mellisa had promised. Days turned into weeks, and my grandmother was forced to leave without her much-needed glasses. This was incredibly frustrating, as we had clearly communicated the urgency of the situation to Mellisa. The lack of professionalism and empathy displayed by Mellisa during this entire process was disappointing. As a manager, one would expect her to take our concerns seriously and ensure that the glasses were delivered on time. Unfortunately, she failed to meet even the most basic expectations. While I understand that delays can occur due to unforeseen circumstances, it is essential for customer service representatives to handle such situations with care and provide accurate information. Mellisa's dismissive attitude and failure to deliver on her promises left us feeling frustrated and let down. In the future, I hope that Mellisa and the Walmart Vision Center team will improve their customer service skills and take into account the urgency and importance of providing accurate information to their customers. It is crucial to remember that behind every purchase, there is a person with unique needs and circumstances. Overall, my experience with Mellisa at Walmart Vision Center was disappointing. I sincerely hope that others do not have to go through a similar experience and that the staff at the Vision Center will work towards improving their customer service in the future.

Melissa Peterson, helped my older brother, John, with picking out corrective glasses and sunglasses at the Bloomington Walmart Vision Center. We were extremely pleased with the service she gave us. She thoroughly explained the difference between bifocals and progressive lenses and also gave us all the details to send into our insurance company to receive a partial reimbursement. She was the most helpful , patient, and diligent employee we have ever had at any eye clinic ever! And my brother and I are both in our 70s! We will both be going back to her for future eye needs plus tell all our relatives and friends about our experience there.

The associates Melissa and Brianna in the Walmart vision center worked well as a team to process my glasses orders. They did their best to make the process smooth despite problems with the insurance company! They were very knowledgeable about the process and remained calm and professional, despite the stress of managing the vision center and helping customers.

A few weeks ago ordered a pair of glasses from here for my wife after visiting Hadden Eyecare Associates. I provided them my vision insurance details. They took some considerable amount of time to verify it and gave me info on how much would be covered for the frame. I had provided the info earlier when I made my wife's appointment over the phone but they had taken down some wrong information and wrong phone number. They corrected the phone number during my visit. We ordered the frame based on the insurance coverage and they mentioned 2 weeks but most probably would receive it earlier and they would give us a call (remember - the phone number was fixed. I saw her write it down). After 2 weeks my wife gave a call and they didn't find the order in the system and the lady who spoke with my wife was very cross and asked my wife to contact the doctor's office to get the glasses. I called a couple of days later since my wife was afraid to deal with the same lady. The lady whom I spoke with mentioned the same, but I asked what that meant "get it from the doctor". I placed the order with them. Then she digs into the system and finds that BOTH NAME AND PHONE NUMBER WERE ENTERED WRONG! She mentioned the glasses were ready a couple of weeks ago and I can go get it. I get a call a few minutes later and she says that it's not covered by insurance and so I have to pay out of pocket. I don't expect stellar service from Walmart. It's Walmart. But this level of carelessness and nonchalance is not acceptable when it is connected to a medical field. Either hire proper professionals or shut that department down. Currently just about to leave to get the glasses from there, paying full price. But this will be the last time since we won't be doing this again with them. Reconsidering Hadden Eye Care as well, since some of these employees are the one's doing the preliminary tests there. Not going to trust that.

Faduma was fantastic during the entire visit! She helped me pick out multiple pairs of glasses and I'm so excited for what we picked out! Would highly recommend this Vision Center for the people and the huge selection of glasses.
