I am switching eye doctors. The doctor and staff are nice but they canceled my appointment 3 times with 2 different doctors because 2 doctors quit and the 3rd time the doctor was sick. Finally saw the 3 rd doctor which was fine. I bought 2 pair of glasses which they said would take a week to 10 days. We'll, it is now 17 days later and no glasses. My appointment was on January 17. I called them on Jan 30 and they told me one pair was shipped out 2 days ago and the other pair were still in processing and if the one pair didn't show today they should be there by Monday. I never heard anything. I called on Jan 31 and still not there. I decided to look on the portal on Monday and still not there. I go to call them on Tuesday and they are closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. What kind of doctors office is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays? It makes me angry that it is taking this long for glasses. I will be asking for some kind of compensation if my glasses ever arrive.

I went to the Clarkson Eye Care in Arnold Missouri at 28 Arnold Park Mall. An associate named Ian helped me. My husband and I both said we have never experienced such a kind, helpful associate. He even suggested another location that had a bigger variety as they were a bigger store. They had the exact same glasses that he and I picked out. But we drove back to his store because he was so kind. The service that he provided was outstanding. He helped me choose glasses, the best shape for my face. Took his time with me and made suggestions. When they came in he made sure they fit properly and made necessary adjustments. He went above and beyond in my opinion, I wish all my experiences could go this smoothly.

Everyone is friendly and accommodating. Dr. Salman is very thorough and efficient, he takes care to be sure you understand everything is understood and you have no questions when you leave. No high pressure sales pitches about frames or anything else. 5 stars! A+++ it's nice to see a group that cares so much about their patients.

I just went here and the only person worth keeping is Ian. A lady with black hair helped me I think her eyes were blue. I asked for her name before I left and they wouldn't give it to me. So that says everything there. I asked her about the amount I was being charged cause I was told $40 then I agreed to the retina scan but even those two items wouldn't have costed the 80$ so I simply asked. This black haired woman walked over to Ian and say she's complaining about the price can you take it off. Never did I complain I asked what was on the bill but after she explained I hand her my card so she had my card in her hand saying I was complaining. I gave clarkson a second chance after getting pink eye the first time from dirty machines!!! Never again. she also huffed and rolled her eyes and made face when I interjected saying I never complained about the amount and when I asked what my prescription was. She was just a nasty personality.

Staff was super nice and very helpful. They even called if there was a cancellation to see if I wanted to move my appointment up. Dr Salman was great. He took his time and was thorough. He explained everything very well to me. I hadn't been to the eye doctor in many many years and I'm happy to have found a place that I can continue to go back to that I like!

Staff was helpful and nice except they did a test on me that was an extra charge without telling me. I am not high risk or anything so I felt like they took advantage of me. Cost me an extra 50 bucks with insurance.
