America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

So I feel like I have to write a review about my recent visit to America's Best for an eye exam and the purchase of glasses. Honestly - I was in a grumpy mood when I arrived, and yet Samantha greeted me and still treated me like I walked in on sunshine. Picking out glasses isn't my choice way to spend a Saturday, but Jennifer was such a pleasant person to work with. If "above and beyond" were a person, it would be her. With laughter and great conversation, she explained everything in detail, and was careful to leave all decisions to us without being pushy in any way. She also double-checked everything to make sure our glasses come back just how we're hoping. I definitely view the process of getting eye exams and glasses differently after this visit. It doesn't have to be a chore -- it can absolutely be fun with people like Samantha and Jennifer around. Thank you for the hard work, for caring, and for taking the time to do things right. It's not unnoticed or unappreciated. My new eyeglass besties are at America's Best!

I had the best eye glass shopping experience with Jeni again! I recognized her from about 3 years ago. She had helped me then, and I was so very happy with my glasses! The whole team is wonderful, along with the best choice of frames! My problem was settling on just one pair... so, I didn't. Three pairs later and a pair of work goggles I am beyond excited to wear them all! Just not at once

I was extremely pleased with the services that I received today at the Joplin, Missouri location. My eye exam was thorough, informative and Dr. Cronister was top notch. Jennifer provided me with excellent assistance as I chose multiple pairs of eyeglasses. She explained every aspect of the products and their price points. She was very patient and knowledgeable. I will definitely return to this location again-and request the assistance of Jennifer each time. She is amazing! After all...she is America's Best.

Grateful to the tech, Samantha, at America's Best in Joplin, MO. She was kind, quick, and informative. My appointment was at the end of my day, totally painless.

I've used America's Best in Joplin Mo. several times. This year was my first pair of progressive lenses and Jennifer explained everything so well! They also helped me find the right frame for the progressive lenses. Everyone was so friendly! Best experience yet!

Before I mention anything negative, I want to say, majority of the employees here were lovely. They all treated me very kindly and my exam went well. However, one thing I hate is getting an eye exam and not being provided my own medical information when requested. Mind you, I looked around their selection of frames and tried to find something I liked, but I couldn't find anything I really loved at this particular store. So, I requested my prescription information so I could attempt to find glasses elsewhere. They happily gave me my prescription, but when I requesting my pupillary distance, they refused and said they only provide it when you purchase frames through them. How ridiculous is that? You refuse to provide my own medical information because I didn't want to purchase frames? That put a bad taste in my mouth, and I'm not sure I'll be returning to America's Best.

Dr. Cronister is always very pleasant and professional! He always takes the time to answer my questions and make sure I understand what he's saying. His team, specifically Jennifer, is also phenomenal!! She's so personable, helpful and thorough with the glasses process! She makes it very easy and fun to finish out the appointment! Can't recommend this team enough!

Tory and Levi were fantastic. Even though the store was extremely busy, they still took the time to help each of us individually and made sure everything was done right. Their patience, professionalism, and attention to detail really stood out.
