Although the waiting time is long, I feel our eyes are not replaceable and our time should not be a factor in the outcome of correcting our problems. All the processes I went through at my appointment were handled by technicians that were polite, educated, and apologetic for the wait. My doctor Brian Connolly who I trust completely found I had a macular hole and set up surgery the next day. This is the second time I've been to this practice I would highly recommend it especially if you care about your eyes.

Retina Associates office staff is beyond professional and helpful from check in through appointment details preparing for the doctor and check out. All with efficiency and respect. Dr Hall is amazing with his knowledge and compassion for personal comfort. I would recommend this practice above any other!

This review is for Retina Associates in Rochester NY. I just noticed Google had me at the wrong location..... I have recently been seen at Retina Associates for a inflamed optic nerve and large floaters after cataract surgery in my right eye at a different practice. I honestly can not say enough good about every single person at Retina Associates. Every person from the receptionists to the technician were very friendly. But not that generic smile you might get at other places. I really felt they were happy at their job and projected that to clients. THEN!, there is Doctor Brian Connelly. Dr. Connelly also has a genuinely friendly personality with a great sense of humor. Coupled with his ability to explain the procedure in an understandable way. I had a vitrectomy done by Doctor Connolly and I have my clear vision back. Thanks to him and his staff, Im back to 20/15 in my right eye. A fun quip, during my pre operation visits, Dr.Connlly used the phrase. "I have never had a patient tell me after the procedure "I miss my floaters" Naturally, after my operation, at my first follow-up, Dr. Connelly asked " how do you feel?" I couldnt blurt out fast enough "I miss my floaters" He smiled and laughed. I had zero reservations throughout my entire time at the practice. It was easy to trust one of the most imortant functions, my EYE SIGHT to Doctor Brian Connelly. Hope to see you after I have the cataract in my left eye removed! Thank you again!!!!

Great experience thus far. I've been a patient for a year and have had an in office procedure and a surgery at the surgical center. Wait time has been reasonable and varied from several minutes to 20 minutes after check in. Be prepared for a "stations" experience in office. A medical technician/staff will call you from the main waiting area and escort you to an examination room for a general intake, eye exam, drops, etc . You'll be sent to a smaller waiting area where you will be called on by other med tech/staff to complete whatever is required before seeing the doctor. Some staff are friendlier than others; however, all appear comfortable, confident and efficient in their role.

Everyone is friendly and polite which is so important to all of us patients. My doctor, Angela Bessette is so patient with me. She answers my questions and takes time to explain the procedure she is applying to my eyes. I am an Artist and I cannot express how important my wonderful doctor is to me!

Everyone I encountered working at this office on July 14th were exceptional at their individual positions. Dr. Sood thoroughly examined my eye. He fully communicated my diagnosis, risks, and treatment. He gave me the option to make a follow-up appointment or to receive treatment while I was there. I chose the latter. He put me at ease for the procedure. It was over in minutes as he told me it would be. There have been no surprises due to Dr. Sood's information. I am still healing. I highly recommend Dr. Sood and this team.

Retina was very nice from intake to the medical History, including pictures of my Retina. Everyone all of the tech were kind, Helpful and engaging. The first time visit lasted 3 hours and be prepared to wait. These people are very thorough and take your condition seriously. Their mission is to help you find a cure to your eye sight problem. Be patient they are working for with you and they care.

Retina Associates of Western New York is first class in care for patients with eye issues that may be uncommon or need extremely professional Dr's to correct your issues. Dr Connelly actually saved my husband's vision after a failed detached retina surgery near our home. We were referred to him at Retina Associates and he took his time and was able to fix the tear and restore my husband's vision! He is amazing. I see him for macular degeneration. He is very honest and has been watching it very carefully for three years now. I can't say enough great things about Dr Connelly and the staff at Retina Associates of Western New York!
