I can't say enough good things about Dutchess Optometry. My mom is 84 years old, and everyone was absolutely wonderful. Dr. Lappan was kind, thorough, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made her feel comfortable. Emily, the pretester, was so patient, Gina at the front desk was welcoming and helpful, and Jennifer was amazing when helping my mom pick out her glasses. Every single person treated her with such care, patience, and respect. It truly meant the world to us. Highly recommend!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Dutchess Optometry with Dr. Lappan and her incredible staff! Dr. Lappan was so patient and amazing with my three young kids, making their eye exams comfortable and stress-free. Her kindness and expertise truly put us all at ease. I was way overdue for a checkup and was hesitant to go in. Upon arrival, the receptionist checked me in quickly and I only had to wait for a few minutes before Emily took me to back to do some diagnostic tests. She explained to me everything she was doing and put me at ease. Once we were done, she took me to an exam room to see the doctor. Dr. Graham came in and introduced himself. We discussed my test results as well as any concerns I had. He was very personable and took the time to listen to me. While I was waiting for my eyes to dilate, Adriene grabbed me from the exam room and escorted me out front so I could start looking for new frames. She was very helpful and patient. Even more so because, after about 20 minutes, I still couldn't pick a pair. So she offered to note in my chart the few that I was leaning towards and told me I could always come back another time. Back to the exam room so Dr. Graham could perform the remaining tests and then I was on my way. Overall a really pleasant experience and I will be more apt to go back in a timely manner.

He was extremely personable, helpful, and knowledgeable! The whole process is always seamless, from being greeted by Gianna & Gina, pre-tested by Emily, examined by the doctor, and assisted with glasses by either Jen or Adrienne. Highly recommend!
