i have a certain condition with my vision and I felt the dr took the time to hear my concerns and actually made them a priority in my visit, that is something that rarely happens when I go to get an eye exam. The doctor dismisses your requests, the hours are unprofessional (some days they open at 11 a.m, some days earlier, who knows, it's whenever the dr decides to come in), they NEVER answer their phones, the lenscrafters next door does, and they are difficult to get changes to your contacts/glasses if needed. Very unprofessional, in my opinion.

I had a great experience at my appointment today. I had trouble finding the place but once I found it, it was a great experience. From the front desk, to the exam, I felt cared for. I've been to eye doctors before, who didn't act like they cared about me as a patient but I felt like the doctor really cared about me and my eye health. It was like being with a friend for family member.

I have now been there 2 times, 1 time about a year ago, and 1 time recently. I've seen 2 doctors and both have been excellent. I originally went to them because my experiences with Graystone Eyecare in Lincolnton was horrible and I would never go back to them. I see that others haven't had a good experience at Kiser, but mine was great, including the receptionist, the person who does the initial work up and the Doctor.
