Accuvision Dry Eye

I am very impressed with this practice. I was surprised at my first visit because the storefront is simple and the office sparsely furnished. But once inside, you find a well-run office with state of the art equipment and knowledgeable staff. Everyone is friendly and efficient. Dr. Shah is very competent and thorough. During your appointment you are the only patient being treated and they take all the time you need to understand and feel comfortable with the procedures. So far it's been a great experience.

Went to Accuvision Eye Care in Mount Holly to see Dr. Pawlish because I had some blurry vision in my left eye! Dr. Pawlish and Christina were great as always. Dr. Pawlish sent me to Accuvision Dry Eye in Pineville to have a more extensive look into the eye. Accuvision Dry Eye definitely upheld the standards of Dr. Pawlish. I saw Dr. Shah and she took her time to explain in detail what I was experiencing today. She explained it was pretty common. However, it would likely take a couple months to get better but would likely restore itself back to normal. Good news and out my mind at ease. Everyone was great from Mrs. Jen upfront, to Miss Betania, who did the pre screening, to Dr. Shah. Thank you all Jerry McSwain

Dr.Shah is a wonderful doctor, super kind and knowledgeable. The staff is just amazing and welcoming. I had IPL treatments and felt very well cared for throughout the whole process. Highly recommend her if you struggle with dry eyes!

Dr. Ruchita Shah and her skilled team at Accuvison Dry Eye Center in Pineville, NC are very professional and courteous when it comes to patient care. I suffered from severe dry eyes symptoms for most of my entire life and I was more than happy to find out that there was finally a clinic that treated people with severe dry eyes and who had a solution to make my eyes look and feel better in not a long period of time. Once they identified the root cause, they were able to offer me the best option for my unique situation and were able to lay out a plan to not only set up a treatment for me and help elevate my symptoms, but also fix the underlying problem. They have all the proper latest medical equipment for treating various dry eye patients. For me personally, I became extremely excited to learn and find out that they offered an IPL treatment, "intense pulse light" & Lipiflow an FDA approved treatment utilizing thermal heat, which massages the inner eye lids to help soften and produce the oils that my eyes need was a simple painless procedure that took 13 minutes! Dr. Ruchita Shah's practice focuses entirely on dry eyes, and it shows. I had been struggling for years and didn't know what to do anymore. Sometimes my eyes were hard to open in the in the morning! From the friendly front desk to the skilled assistant who ran my tests, everyone made me feel comfortable and they were both very gentle and not rushing. Dr. Shah spent plenty of time with me, explained everything, wrote it down, and gave me samples and instructions (which I used as soon as I got home... I could feel a difference immediately) I have autoimmune issues that make my dry eyes worse, and she connected all the dots like no one else ever did. I left feeling understood and in good hands! BTW... The office and treatment rooms were spotlessly clean!

First class, expert care which tested and verified my tear quality and gland quality in ways I've never experienced before. They developed a great action plan for me, and I received Lipiflow, which is a gentle way to open those pesky clogged glands fast! Recommended by my opthalmologist after cataract surgery.

Having suffered from dry eye for about 1-1/2 years I was extremely impressed with my visit to AccuVISION. My regular eye doctor only did a minor exam and prescribed eye drops that did not work all too well. The special tests AccuVISION did were many and took the better part of an hour. Very impressive.
